This space now has multiple access points providing ample storage and functionality for our client.

We also refreshed the outdoor area and installed a timber bi-fold door. This opens out onto the paved area that wraps around the side of the home.

Welcome to this stunning little project we completed in Summer Hill.

Due to limited space in the backyard and a detached garage, our client wanted a way to transform and merge the garage into part of the backyard so that they could gain an alfresco area.

The result; 2 entry points now providing a functional alfresco and garage.

Our clients at Neutral Bay now have a brand new, much more functional kitchen and open plan living space.

For our Neutral Bay project, we removed what was once an unusable deck area and made it accessible from the kitchen via bifold doors to create a seamless transition from indoor to outdoor living.

Add in a custom screen and Murraya hedges for extra privacy, and our clients received the perfect outdoor entertainment area. The greenery on the deck also ties into the lush synthetic turf laid on the lower garden.

The bedroom at our Neutral Bay project got a refresh with the installation of a built in wardrobe and new floors.

We also installed stacking sliding doors for better access to the back deck, which features a stairway to the backyard, and reconstructed the pergola to allow for maximum natural light into the room.

We completely transformed the laundry in our Neutral Bay project by changing up the layout to allow for better use of a small space.

Spot the railing installed beneath the cabinets for extra hanging space, plus a generous benchtop.

The rear corridor of our Neutral Bay project completely opened up once we removed the old, sliding doors that connected the corridor to the deck, and replaced them with stacking bifold doors.

The result is a seamless transition between the indoor and outdoor living spaces. We also installed a linen press and storage cupboard in the corridor for that extra storage space.

The kitchen and living area of our Neutral Bay project transformed into the heart of the home. After removing a load bearing wall, we relocated the kitchen from one side of the house to the other, creating open plan living and making the space more practical.

Natural light now floods the area, with the installation of two skylights, a raked ceiling, and the addition of a full height window, overlooking the new deck.

Introducing our Neutral Bay Project | Renovation

The brief from our client was a modern renovation to maximise the space, ultimately to improve the re-sale value of the home.

Tony is a third-generation builder and building is in his blood - his grandfather’s handiwork features prominently in the Sydney Opera House to this day!

Relationships have run deep at Aviso since the business was established by Tony in 2019. Working in his family’s tiling business from an early age, he learned the importance of building strong lasting relationships, delivering on commitments, and going the extra mile for his clients. These are core values he carries with him today.

With over 14 years experience, Tony's diverse background includes all facets of construction, from project planning, through to defect rectification, which has instilled in him the skill of getting the details right from the start, and of keenly observing how each detail influences the bigger picture.
