And that's a wrap....Week 4.
Our week finished with our fortnightly assembly, where we celebrated our students and their achievements. Best of luck next week to our students who are participating in the Eisteddfod and Diocesan Athletics carnival.
Olympian Visit!
Year 4 were lucky enough to have Mrs Nikita Williams (Cuffe) visit the classroom. Nikita is a former Australian Women's Water Polo Olympian! The students got to try on her Olympic robe and Swimwear, but most of all have a look and feel of her Bronze Medal which was won at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Didge Group Mondays!
Each Monday we have Mr Chris Dove from Chris Dove Music come and run a Didgeridoo Group with some of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. The kids give up their lunch times to enjoy these sessions, and as you can see are well attended!
School Performance - Young Mary
Much laughter was had in the hall for this performance! A great show celebrating Saint Mary Mackillop in her younger years. Remembering Mary's words "Never see a need without trying to do something about it.โ
Congratulations to our Percussion and Instrumental Groups at the Bathurst Eisteddfod today. Both groups of students coming away with 1st Placings! Thankyou Miss Paula for preparing them so well.
