Today we say goodbye to Jen.

While some of you may not know her because she only works a couple of short days each week, Jen has been with us for close to a year and has been an incredibly reliable and consistent presence within the team. It has been a pleasure alongside her! All the best with what lies ahead!

The ‘Amelie’ can be observed in the early morning in her natural habitat. She will usually be running around barefooted at the entrance of the shop, greeting and farewelling guests, while dancing and screaming (singing).

Interestingly, the day she was born is the day I received the lease documents for what is now Cubic.

Another month has gone by in the blink of an eye! Cheers to another very enjoyable coffee rotation, roasted by amazing small local businesses that we are very proud to support.

Highlight of the current rotation: Indonesia Keida Bali by Almanac.
Lots of sweetness with a beautiful berry and citrus finish. We will have a fresh batch of this beauty on our shelves next week.

We have good news for those wanting to chug on cold brews all day without the adverse effects of a caffeine overdose. We've brewed a delicious single-origin cold brew that happens to be decaf! Courtesy of , this sugar cane processed Colombian coffee possesses distinct flavours of Nutella and hazelnut.

We've got something super exciting starting tomorrow!

Colombia Santa Monica [Strawberry infused honey process]
Wine yeast and strawberries are added to the coffee cherries while they ferment in a tank. The strawberry flavour is definitely present and should create a very nice dessert-like taste in a flat white or a latte. Enjoy!

Our New York style cheesecake… made in house of course!

Though the ingredients are simple, cheesecake can be a little tricky. We had to go through quite a bit of trial and error before we got this recipe right!

We are almost done with the current rotation - make sure you get a taste of this excellent Brazilian coffee by before we run out.

This beautiful chai blend is handcrafted in Melbourne using premium preservative-free ingredients. This chai is made in small batches to maintain freshness, maximum potency and to ensure the freshest chai possible.
