IN REST, THEY REMEMBER

Some people are slowly taken to the other realm.
Not just physically, but mentally.

Memory by memory, they are extricated,
like a painstakingly slow house move.

Boxes full of life, chapters, people, loves.
All packed into a van, to wait their arrival on the other side.

And as these parts are removed, those left feel lonelier daily.

As though their love is already leaving them.

It is a painful departure, my friends, this much is sadly true.

But I like to think of the person we knew, reaching the other side finally, once more whole.

And upon arrival they see their boxes, awaiting them so long,
and they open them up.
The chapters, the memories, the loves…
and reunite with them again.

I can feel that heartfelt joy and it brings me joy too.

They are not lost for long, though it may feel so.

In rest, they remember it all.

And that’s a wrap from us. The last car is now parked up for the night and we are looking forward to being able to spend some very valuable time with some of our friends and family over the next couple of days. Anthony & I would like to say a very heartfelt thank you to Ken, Phil, Richard, Jess, Graham, Col, William, Lin, Laurie, Jimmy and the many other Contractors that have helped look after our Clients through what has been our toughest year yet. Our Industry has been one of those hit extremely hard during this pandemic and we have sadly seen many fellow Operators have to shut down. We have had amazing support from both our long term and new clients throughout the year. Support not only in using our service when they could but also in the form of phone calls, emails and texts just saying that they are thinking of us, they hope we are keeping well and to keep fighting on through this. Being on the receiving end of those phone calls I can say was very humbling and I definitely struggled to keep the tears back. It’s easier to hide when you are reading messages. Thank you to you all. We are pleased and proud to say we are still here and will most certainly continue to keep fighting on to provide the high standard of service we have worked hard to bring to you all.

We’ve looked after a couple of Brides and Grooms this week. It’s wonderful to see some of our couples who had to cancel their weddings earlier in the year finally be able to celebrate their big day with friends and families.

After the announcement by the Premier today that our Qld borders will open on the 1st December to NSW the phones are ringing. Tomorrow we will hopefully have the same news for Victoria. It was the 10th April that our borders first shut. We have been operating all this time looking mostly after our clients who are essential workers. We have been getting busier every week as things improve. We are looking forward to catching up with all of our existing clients and new ones as well as these beauties get flying again.

We are excited to see our loyal clients again and with your help, start the process of rebuilding our business.

And in the last few days we've noticed an increase in our clients booking airport transfers returning to work.
And thanks to those essential workers travelling that supported us since March 23.

Naturally our vehicles are COVID compliant.
We are waiting for your business 🙂

We have had a number of messages and calls asking if we are still providing our service. We are happy to be able to say that Yes we are.

We are currently assisting all of our clients who are travelling both Domestically & Internationally with their transfers. If you or any friends or family members are needing assistance with their transport please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are doing our very best to accommodate everyone where we can and have a wonderful network of drivers on hand to assist us with last minute bookings.

Keeping our vehicles clean, tidy & safer continues to be of utmost importance to us. In addition to the normal hygienic practises we have in place we now also ensure that all surfaces are cleaned with antibacterial products after every transfer.

We would also like to thank you all for the continued support we receive from the community. We turned 9 in February. The time has gone by very quickly. Thank you all and we look forward to being able to continue providing our service to you.

Have to say we are all pretty chuffed right now. This is a very competitive industry so to have some of our wonderful clients nominate us for this feels pretty amazing. We still have a long way to go, but we feel like winners just to be nominated. Potentially substantial delays at BNE airport this morning. Check in with your airline as to your flight status.

There will be major delays across the Airport network today. Strong winds have caused multiple cancellations of flights in Sydney already. This will no doubt have a flow on affect across the network over the weekend as well.
