✅ Efficiency. 💼 Time-Saving. 💸 Cost-Effective. 🛠️ Quality.

When it comes to creating innovative projects or tackling complex tasks, the power lies in combining off-the-shelf parts with custom-made components. (pictured: Bicycle tube and 3d printed parts) 💪✨

By using off-the-shelf parts, we can tap into a vast array of readily available components designed for various purposes. This means no more waiting for custom manufacturing or spending excessive time sourcing specific parts. 🔄⏱️

💡 But here's the secret sauce: By complementing those off-the-shelf parts with custom-made components, we can elevate our projects to new heights! 🚀✨

Custom-made parts enable us to fine-tune and optimize our creations precisely for our unique needs. We can push the boundaries of creativity, fit, and functionality.

Here's why this powerful combo of off-the-shelf parts and custom-made components saves both time and money:

1️⃣ Cost Efficiency: Off-the-shelf parts are often more cost-effective compared to custom manufacturing, as they benefit from economies of scale.

2️⃣ Time Savings: With readily available off-the-shelf parts, we can skip lengthy lead times and get to work immediately. No more waiting for parts to be fabricated!

3️⃣ Compatibility: Off-the-shelf parts are designed to work seamlessly with other components, reducing the time spent on compatibility testing and troubleshooting.

4️⃣ Versatility: Combining off-the-shelf parts with custom-made components allows us to achieve a perfect balance between standardized solutions and tailored functionalities.

5️⃣ Quality Assurance: Trusted off-the-shelf parts often come with established reputations for reliability and performance, ensuring our projects are built on solid foundations.

Utilising heat set inserts in our 3D printing in order to create functional parts. 💡🖨️ Not only can we print intricate designs, but can easily insert metal threads and components into our prints! 🛠️🔧 This opens up endless possibilities for durable, customizable prototypes and end-use products.

"Designing with a user-centric approach empowers individuals by creating intuitive and meaningful experiences that enhance their lives".

This philosophy is at the core of all of our work.

Here is a little sneak peak 👀 of an upcoming project that really puts this into practice. It will also utilise some pretty cool materials such as carbon fibre and CNC machined 7075 aluminium.

Throw back to 2020, when we had the honour of designing and manufacturing the custom front hub assembly for Harley Davidson Gold Coast's competition bike. They submitted their XRTT-1200 into the global Harley Davidson bike build off - Battle Of The Kings.

A great design process always starts with understanding the user's needs. For our client, Fredon Technology, this meant figuring out how to turn a 98" 'touch' wall display into a serviceable interactive table for the new Gold Coast City Council Disaster and Emergency Management Centre.
