A touching story of aircrafts helping save lives. Thanks LifeFlight
Our RACQ LifeFlight Rescue crews are ready to fly 24/7 – even over the holidays. 🚁 ☀️
What was supposed to be a mellow afternoon surfing ended with Andrew in an RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter. After hitting the sand headfirst, which resulted in a serious spinal injury that instantly paralysed him, he required immediate care and rapid transport to hospital. It was a long road to recovery for Andrew, but miraculously he is now walking and doing what he loves again – surfing and spending time with his family.
Andrew feels like the luckiest man alive and is grateful for his second chance at life. We are honoured that we were able to be there for him and make a difference.
Stay safe this Christmas and know we'll be there for you – no matter where summer takes you!

A fun Christmas themed mission! Love seeing these kind gestures in our world, particularly from government organisations.
Just for a bit of fun, I asked an AI to generate me an air tractor flying above a corn field and this is what I got.
The recent bushfires in NSW and Queensland have heralded the start of yet another fire season, which we hope will not be as harsh as years gone past. Our hearts go out to those people who have lost property and had their homes damaged by the current fires in NSW and Queensland.
GeoSim Technologies has been all too aware of the dangers and damage that wildfires can cause. To try and assist our brave pilots, we have developed in-house, the powerful Vulcan aerial fire fighting program which is designed to operate with our Air Tractor SEATS aircraft and our AS350 helicopter simulators.
These simulators in conjunction with Vulcan are designed to emulate real wild fire situations and aircraft emergencies that will assist our heroic aerial firefighting pilots to not only practice missions before they actually happen but also practice communication protocols, emergency situations and can also be used by Air attack supervisors to co-ordinate missions in a safe and risk-free environment.

I love seeing this live training in action. For safe on-the-ground training, we developed a customisable VR winch app in collaboration with HMAS Sydney. If you're interested in seeing this in action be sure to let us know!
The Supermarine Spitfire, one of the most iconic and recognizable aircraft of all time. The brainchild of R. J. Mitchell, the Spitfire first flew on March 5, 1936, with the Mark I entering service with 19 Squadron RAF, in the summer of 1938. During the Second World War, Great Britain produced a total of 20,351 Spitfires in about 24 different variants.
GeoSim's full cockpit Spitfire simulator (pictured above) is based on the Mark VIII variant, which almost exclusively served overseas, in the Mediterranean, Middle East and Pacific theatres. The RAAF operated a large number of MKVc's and MKVIII's in the South-West Pacific, however the Spitfire was unsuited to the climate and rugged conditions and did not perform as well as it did in Europe. Nevertheless, from 1944 - 1945, the Spitfire MKVIII saw significant action in this theatre of the war, especially with No.1 (Fighter) Wing, under Wing Commander Clive 'Killer' Caldwell, Australia's leading flying ace.
With most of us here, at GeoSim Technologies, being warbird enthusiasts, this Spitfire simulator was a project which filled us with childish delight! We built it with sheet aluminium riveted to an exposed interior framework, to mimic the construction of the real Spitfire. In addition to featuring a realistic instrument panel and gauges, the simulator's greatest point of attraction (for me anyhow) is the iconic spade-grip control column and the light-up gunsight. This labour of love can be found at Hunter Warbirds in Scone, NSW, just waiting to give you a chance to experience some of the exhilaration of flying a real Supermarine Spitfire.
