Exciting news! We’d like to reintroduce ourselves as The Industry School. You may know us as the AITC, but we have recently changed our branding to reflect who we are, why we exist and our future. Young people told us that we are “more than a trade college”... that we've evolved so much in recent years. Industry partners shared the same sentiment, so we listened to our community. Our new brand reflects these conversations and better captures the breadth of our offering and our strategic intent. New name. New look. Still deliberately different. Visit our website for more information: www.deliberatelydifferent.com.au

A special thank you to our valued industry contributors for their continuous support and collaboration. 🙌

Next week, Ashleigh Glencross and the team will welcome our Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast Year 10 academy students as they commence their RITE.
The RITE weeks offer rich learning and networking opportunities, including visits to Beaudesert Racecourse, Gold Coast Turf Club, and local stud farms and visits form employers.
The Equine Academy program, available at our Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Sunshine Coast, and Toowoomba schools, helps students transition into school-based apprenticeships and traineeships in the racing sector, and we are enrolling for our January intake for Year 10 and 11.

Brisbane Rookies Graduation! ✨
What an amazing afternoon celebrating our mid-year Rookies graduation with AITC families! Our Rookies have completed their program, embodying values like mateship and resilience, and are well-prepared for their next steps in industry and education.

We also showcased our Project Based Learning activity, 'Back from the Future', where Year 10 Rookies created a working model rail network with stations from different time periods. This project integrated subjects like English, History, Design & Technology, and Science, enhancing their hands-on skills and communication.

A huge thank you to our Personal Industry Coach, Mark Bradshaw, and staff for spending an incredible amount of time supporting students during the project and for Mark, who put the project together on site at the Grand Chancellor.

Mark expressed his satisfaction with the skills learned through 'Back from the Future'. "Our Year 10s got tools in their hands and worked with electrical theory, all while helping each other, embodying the AITC values of mateship."

A special congratulations to those who received a values award! 🎉

We can't wait to see where our Rookies' career journeys take them.
