Our mission is to take the gospel to every corner of Australia! Vision is truly helping Australians look to God daily.
Vision is a non-profit, non-denominational, registered charity and multimedia Christian ministry dedicated to ensuring God’s Word continues to have a place in Australia’s media landscape. From the beginning, our founders received the word of Habakkuk 2:2 and caught a vision.

Melinda shares some reflections on this verse…
This verse is something I keep close to my heart because it’s one of my favourites. Whenever I feel inadequate or unlovable, I remember that the God of the universe, the One who created Heaven and Earth, died for me because He loved me so much. Not only that, but if I willingly take hold of that truth, I can live in eternity with Him.
This incredible gift that God gave humanity is something to be shared. When I read this verse, I want to tell everybody I know what Jesus did for me, so that they might come to know that He did it for them too. I believe that God created us all with eternity in our hearts, and I pray that you and I will meet our loved ones and rejoice with them in Heaven one day.
Thank you again for joining with others across Australia in learning and meditating on Scripture through The Treasury Project.
We trust God will bless you as you commit His Word to your memory and allow it to pe*****te deep into your heart.
Multi-award winning singer Lauren Daigle may be one of the biggest selling Christian artists in the world, but she says one of her favourite places to perform is inside a prison.
The two-time Grammy winner and 2023 Billboard Christian Artist of the Year has posted a video of her visit to Dr. Eddie Warrior Correctional Center in Oklahoma earlier this year where she put on a concert for 300 women. Crosswalk.com writes that her “beautifully written lyrics about God’s unfailing love, mercy and grace” moved many of the inmates to tears.

Akos Balogh writes, "Anxiety was never a part of my life. At least, not until I turned 40. But then it entered with a bang: panic attacks, and intense feelings of anxiety that affected my job (or at least the part that involved getting on an aircraft). But over time I learned some ‘game-changing’ truths that changed how I responded to anxious feelings. Truths – grounded in the Bible and the best of modern psychology – that serve me well to this day."

Melinda shares her thoughts on this week's Treasury Project verse...
This verse is a constant reminder to me that the Word of God is a living thing. So often, I hear people say that the Bible ‘speaks’ to them, and this verse is proof of that. That’s why every time I pick up my Bible, whether I’m reading a verse for the first time or for the thousandth time, God can reveal something new to me.
The stories in the Bible reveal God’s glory in so many ways. They are full of examples of how we should love our families, friends and neighbours. As we continue to see God’s glory revealed, we grow in understanding of just how much grace he extends to us. And hopefully, that continues to help us extend that same grace to others.
Thank you again for joining with others across Australia in learning and meditating on Scripture through The Treasury Project.

Gloria Jean’s Coffee Australian franchises birthed at a church meeting:
Peter Irvine joined Andrew McLennan on 20Twenty to talk about how he started the Gloria Jean’s Coffee franchises in Australia. Peter is a seasoned business leader, keynote speaker, and an author with a passion for empowering individuals and organisations to integrate faith into their daily lives and businesses. He was the co-founder of Gloria Jean’s Coffee and is now the CEO of Kingdom Momentum Limited. He’s dedicated to supporting leaders and organisations in transforming communities and expanding God’s Kingdom all across the globe.
Peter was presented with the opportunity to bring Gloria Jean’s Coffee to Australia through his Connect Group leaders at his church. Having worked in advertising for 30 years, the idea sat well with Peter. Since it wasn’t contrary to God’s Word and had the potential to create income that would build God’s Kingdom, Peter committed to the concept. The next step was a trip to America to negotiate the rights to set up franchises in Australia. A year later Gloria Jean’s Coffee was launched in Australia.

Learning to embrace God’s mission everyday.
If you ask any Christian leader how the embrace God’s mission everyday, you’ll likely hear their passion for engaging the community for real transformation, whether that’s through the Great Commission, the Lord’s Prayer, or the call to love our neighbour.
Paul Bartlett embodies this mission. He leads Mobilise, an organisation started this year after he spent twenty years helping churches in Australia and overseas become vital to their communities. He is also the author of Thank God It’s Monday and hosts a podcast.
Paul was previously the senior pastor of Lighthouse Church in Wollongong and the state leader of the Australian Christian Churches in NSW, where he helped 300 churches through many challenges. He also served as the chaplain for the Illawarra Hawks basketball team for 17 years.
Paul recently joined us on 20Twenty to remind us that as Christians, we can have a huge influence in our community, across our town or city, and throughout the nation. And it all starts with Monday’s.

Vision’s radio station in Barraba, New South Wales, went to air on the 29th of June 2024!
This is Vision’s 91st radio station out of the 100 stations 2021-2023 project and the 830th station overall. We did not see this one coming! After speaking to a caller during Visionathon, they offered to host the station equipment in their home. Fifteen days after their call, Vision was on air in Barraba. Hallelujah!
Barraba has a population of 1,035 and is located 476 km north of Sydney and 90 km north of Tamworth on the picturesque Fossickers Way route with the Manilla River and the Nandewar Ranges to the west, and the Horton Valley to the north-west.
The main appeal of the area is its long history as a mining town and the spectacular national parks which attracts campers, bushwalkers, and birdwatchers. Barraba is also part of the Silo Art Trail. Artist Fintan Magee created the 40-metre high Barraba Silo mural named The Water Diviner.

There are so many mysteries in the world. Some seem so incredible that it’s hard to believe that they may be true. Our brains sometimes cannot cope with many of these mysteries and so we just dismiss them as fantasy.
But, the Bible, as a totally factual record of history, can be believed and nothing in this book has ever been proven wrong. In fact, every prophecy to now, has been proven to be true.

Why Are We So Angry? The Hidden Culprit We May Be Missing.
Psychologists have long known the link between loneliness and aggression, confirmed in recent studies of both adolescents and seniors. Left unaddressed, loneliness can breed mistrust, mistrust can breed fear, fear can breed self-protection, and soon even a librarian is seen as a threat. While not all lonely people are angry (far from it), many angry people are lonely. I think US Surgeon General Vivek Murthy in his book Together, has it right:
“Loneliness is the root cause and contributor to many of the epidemics sweeping the world today—from alcohol and drug addiction to violence to depression and anxiety.”

Kameel Majdali on Global Turmoil and the Role of Faith!
Big political changes are happening around the world, causing global turmoil, and affecting everyone, including Christians. Our safety and security often depend on who is in power. With upcoming elections in the UK, France, and the US, and local elections in Australia, leaders are asking people what kind of country they want.

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." Ephesians 6:10-12 🙌
If you’re into theology there is a fair chance that you’ve heard about the ‘two books of God’.
There is the ‘book’ of nature, where creation points to the creativity, power and majesty of God, and then there is the Bible, which records hundreds of “God turned up” events and helps us to understand what they mean and how they teach us about God.
Ps 19 is often used as an example of these two sources of knowledge about God. It starts: “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge,” before shifting focus in v7, “The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.” Here we learn about God through both nature and Scripture.

How glorious is our King Jesus! ✝️
When presented with an opportunity to talk about God, it can sometimes feel overwhelming. What do I tell them? Where should I start? How do I squeeze in so much info in such a short amount of time?
With all this going on in the back of your mind, you can easily lose track of what originally sparked the conversation and start sounding like you’re going through a checklist. It might be good information, but it’s often not what the person is looking for.
So, how do we talk about God in an approachable and personal way?
HERE ARE 2 EASY WAYS TO TALK ABOUT GOD’S CHARACTER…
1. SHOW THAT GOD IS APPROACHABLE
A great first step is to realise that God Himself is approachable and personal with each of us. As you grow and journey in our faith, we encounter God and He teaches us about His character. When we approach sharing Jesus with this in mind, our conversation turns from being generalised to something more personal and relatable because we’re coming from personal experience and conviction.
2. TALK HONESTLY ABOUT LIFE WITH GOD
When chatting we can tell people about a characteristic of God that we’re learning about or being reminded of. Connecting it to something real or current in our lives is helpful. This way, not only do we get to talk about WHO God is, but we also get to model what it’s like to do life WITH Him. Authenticity draws people in and sparks their curiosity about Jesus.
It’s the Holy Spirit’s work to change a person’s heart toward the grace of God, all we have to do is be genuine with our faith experience and be open to sharing the ‘real’ side of our Christianity. Why not choose to have a conversation with someone this week about your personal relationship with Jesus?
