I’ve been busy.
But, it was worth it.

Aside from making great coffee ☕️ and I reckon the best sandwiches 🥪 anywhere - Rachel, the owner of Apollo Coffee House - is just such a good community person.

She had a stall at Hocus Pocus on Thursday, to raise funds for Open Haven Ltd, a locally based organisation that supports women who’ve fled domestic violence.

She still has the fundraiser going, so you could pop down anytime for a lovely coffee break and donate, or go to the link. We are very good in our community at supporting important causes, and people like Rachel help us to be that way.👏💓

This Thursday at the annual HOCUS POCUS HALLOWEEN in Bulimba Memorial Park -
Apollo Coffee House are running a stall to raise money for OPEN HAVEN.
All money raised will go to Open Haven.
What time? 3pm onwards.
What are we doing? A small plaster fun house.
(Spooky themed and some dinosaurs - $4 each)
What to bring? Gold Coin donations.
What if you do not have a Gold Coin?
We have a QR code that goes directly to them.
What do Open Haven do? Primarily they provide long term support to women and families that have left domestic violence situations.
Open Haven create safe hubs for survivors of domestic abuse. Open Haven assist with helping women complete their high school education, seek employment, learn to drive, meet new people, and give opportunities to grow through education and community…So please dig deep.
