Out now 'Collateral Beauty' on all platforms. A very fitting song for the times for us, about coming full circle and finding our way back to where we belong...and we feel we are finally here. Which marks the perfect time to let this song out into the ether ❤️🎶 (link in comments)
We sincerely hope you enjoy it, and it brings some further hope to your hearts.
Art by the incredible Nálii Kreéture 🙏
Strings by the amazing The Australian Session Orchestra 🙏 (we're so grateful to work with such talent!)
Collateral Beauty, leads me to you
where im supposed to be
A perfect circle, comes into focus
And here we are again
More and more, beautiful, the closer I look
In the midst of the chaos, I find peace in you
Cast away the chains
Find our, way back
This eternal heart beats on and on
You guide me, I'll guide you
Across the oceans to this shore
Drifting vessels, on a timeless tide
Anchored in the sky
See many ages, star formations
Oceans spiral in your eyes
Voices echo, from the mountain
Whispers from the past
Premonition, through the darkness
Illuminates our path
We are so grateful to be able to share this glimmer of magic from both of our hearts to yours in only a few small hours on the clock 🕰 It is a love song that has been a very long time in the making, and inspired by the beautiful and wise words of a person very dear to us. Words that were spoken before our paths intertwined, when neither of us thought we would love or trust again, when one of us still wasn’t sure they would even survive this time. Words that have travelled and grown with us, lighting our way and bringing us comfort and hope since the first time they were spoken ✨ glimmers of light will be found through the darkness, spark by spark burning brighter and brighter together, illuminating your path. One day the light and the love will return even though this seems unbelievable, unimaginable. If only we could look ahead in these dark times to see all of this light yet to come, all of the reasons to keep fighting and to keep breathing and keep believing. Keep imagining ✨ ‘Collateral Beauty’ is out tomorrow, 23/11/23. The link is in comments below…
The still images are from our time filming with the brilliant Jax Oliver Studio and feature our dear friends and of The Australian Session Orchestra who we are honoured to have collaborated with again on this song 💛🙏✨
Hello folks! It's NEW RELEASE o' clock! - As hinted in our last post, we're so happy to announce we have a new 14-track live album offering for you, out now on all the platforms (link in bio). This one is a very special collection of music recorded over the last couple of years, between Brisbane apartments, Welsh mountain tops, Canadian Lakes and Sunshine Coast balconies..🏴🇦🇺🇨🇦🏴
So much has happened over the last few years for us, reconnecting with our families on a journey to find a place to call home. Re-tracing Daryl's roots through North Wales, driving across the country to the south coast white cliffs of Brighton, then to Dawny's family out on Vancouver Island Canada - Driving across the Rocky Mountains to Calgary, then back to Australia for 7 weeks before having to rush back to Wales for a family emergency (which thankfully ended well). Welcoming our beloved Merle 'Luna' to our little family (who can be heard in some of the later recordings haha), amongst much more..🐶
After the last 2 years of travelling, we finally found our place in the world here on the Sunshine Coast, for which we are eternally grateful. That said, it has been a tumultuous and rocky road to get here, with many painful yet poignant lessons, deep shifts through pain and loss juxtaposed with a deepening of love and connection. It's hard to put it all into words, which is why I'm glad we have this collection of songs to speak for us. 🙏🎶
This is so much more than just an album to us. It is a roadmap back through the last few years. The songs are a collection and reflection of moments on our journey, which has been quite the rollercoaster! We're glad to be where we're at now to tell the tale, and we're glad to have this album to show for it.
We'd love you to come join us on our journey -
Live Anthology Vol 1 2022-2023 - Here's to many more! 😊❤️🎶 (also there may or may not be another song coming on Thursday...)

Our hearts are full of gratitude after being part of the wondrously magical Neurum Creek Music Festival over the weekend 🙏🥳🧚🏽♂️❤️🥰✨ we hope to find our way back there again one day! We were amazed to run into many old & dear friends we haven’t seen in AGES and to hear such a vast array of beautiful music and story telling ..with a very healthy dose of fun & frivolity thrown in for good measure… speaking of which… If you haven’t yet heard of Shanty Club with the Salty Sirens and you are a lover of sea shanties, then you aggghhhhhrrrr in for a jolly good treat! And… they now have a whole ‘Community Heroes’ plaque dedicated to them as part of Brisbane Festival 😱🥳🎉 (check it out if you’re heading to Meanjin along Southbank) We are over the moon happy & proud of our soul sisters and all they are accomplishing with their seafaring collective and cannot wait to set sail & get up to more shenanigans with them again in the near futaaghrrr! We love you both and have been missing you so sooooo much 🥲❤️⛵️🌊⚓️🦜
Two things! With music as our magic and medicine, we’ve been making so much music both together and in our own time 🪶 weaving threads of light in the shadows beneath this new moon 🌚 watching with hope in our hearts as the light will surely return soon ✨
This is one of our favourite songs from the movie ‘into the wild’ by Eddie Vedder, which we have also been doing more of in recent times. Walking and grounding ourselves. Connecting with the healing energy of our natural surrounds. We hope you like our little version of this beautiful song (the full video is over on our YouTube- link in comments below) 🙏🍃✨
Wishing much New Moon magic to you xx
We 3 are traveling to Meanjin to play at one of our most beloved places The Triffid for their Newstead Roots Weekender festival on July 30 🌿🌞🎶 Excited to be on the same lineup as a bunch of folks we absolutely LOVE and to be able to see and hug dear friends we’ve been missing so much for the first time in ages! 💛🍃✨
(We are also pretty darn excited that the Garden bar is dog friendly! 🥰🐶🐾)
Big love from us, and lots of magic too ahead of tomorrow’s new moon 🙌💫🌘✨
It’s hard to believe that we’re halfway through the year already and all that has happened in this time. Moving somewhere completely new and unfamiliar, catching our breath and finding our feet in the forest, nursing wounds, repairing many things that are broken, untangling brambling weeds, planting seeds, holding space for grief and keeping up with our pup (or at least trying to!) 🐾 It feels symbolically like we needed this cultivation time on many levels 🍃 Each day we are grateful for what we have and look forward to finding more sparkling gems, golden threads and rainbows of light amongst the leaves and moss, to nurture and tend to the garden as life grows around us on stronger foundations. Sending all our love to you on this day of your journey, too ❤️🤗🌦🌱🕸✨
Huge amounts of love to the amazing Troubadour Wagons who host the most magical of events each month in the Maroochy Bushland Botanic Garden Secret Garden, supporting and showcasing original artists from the Sunshine Coast and far beyond 🍃🌺🌿 What they have conjured & created is otherworldly in its charm and gorgeous community spirit, a whole beautiful warm-hearted tribe of their own 🌞🔮🎶✨
…and when you and your picnic basket find yourselves journeying along to one of their next enchanted wagon destinations, be sure to ask about the magic door 😉🚪🍀🧺💫🧚✨

Dawny here! This is an appreciation post for Daryl, my Mum Elaine and our pup Luna 🥰and a li’l bit of an update/overshare too... We are so grateful that my lovely Mum was here visiting, particularly when I had a very silly accident and visit to ED… While my mind was ‘off with the fairies’ and I took the phrase “knock yourself out” a little too literally- I decided to defy gravity and fall UP (not down) the stairs and torpedo into the hardwood corner of the wall and spiral staircase… 🤦🏽♀️ I gave myself a right old shiner, a nasty concussion and spectacularly ever-changing rainbow coloured eye/brow which needed to be glued back together. I am very sorry for some delays in correspondence this past couple weeks while I’ve been healing 🤕🐶🧚🏽♀️ Sending all of my love and hope this post also helps to explain my extra spacey-ness (and my bruised and swollen face!!) 👩🏼🚀🪐🚀🛰✨ Mum, we miss you! 😭 Darly & Luna, your love and cuddles have been the best medicine ever! ❤️🐶🎶✨🙏🌖💫
