We had our forth 2024 TeeMates 9 Hole Challenge event at Carbrook GC yesterday.
This TeeMates 9 hole event is the largest number of participants we have had so far this year, with 50 juniors playing.

Congratulations to Shai Pearce on her win at the 2024 QLD Sand Green Championship! Shai finished +5 after the two rounds at Richmond Golf Course.

Congratulations to Di Skinner for taking out the B Grade title with +16 and Tanya Beck who won C Grade with +37!

Congratulations to our QLD High Performance Player, Kai Komulainen who finished Runner Up at the Scottish Amateur, played at HCEG Muirfield over the weekend!

Battling windy conditions and wrapping up a flawless bogey-free third round, Kai finished with -7 under over the four day event. 🏌️‍♂️🇦🇺

Congratulations to our 2024 QLD Men's Sand Greens Champion, Sam Howse (The Brisbane).

Howse, now a 2-time QLD Sand Greens champion, won in a play off against Sam Wade (Charleville). Wade & Howse both finished at -10 under par after 36-holes in a tight battle with both players having rounds of 68 & 66.

Daniel Hohn (Mount Coolum) was our B Grade Champion after finishing with rounds of 80 & 78 to win by a single stroke.

Alex Graham, from Ilfracombe, was our C Grade Champion, winning in a play off against David Bodkin (Quilpie), after both players needed a play-off to be separated after being tied on +21.

Round 1 of the 2024 QLD Men's Sand Greens Championship, proudly sponsored by City Golf Club, has finished with defending champion Sam Howse (The Brisbane) & Sam Wade (Charleville) tied at the top after both finished with 68 (-4).

In B Grade, Duncan Emmott leads by 1 shot after an opening round 77 (+5). In C Grade, David Bodkin finished with 81 (+9) to lead by 2 shots.

Congratulations to the Queensland Women’s Team for winning the Gladys Hay Cup at the Australian Interstate! The girls finished on top after 5 rounds at Southport Golf Club.

Our Queensland Team came runner up to Victoria in the overall team component of the Aus Interstate. Great work to all 10 of our Queensland Men’s and Women’s teams over the last three days.

Teams finalised for Australian Interstate Teams Matches Australia's best men and women amateur golfers will converge on Southport Golf Club next week for the 2024 Interstate Teams Matches.

Congratulations to our 2024 Queensland Women’s Country Championship Shirley Dean (Sanctuary Cove)

In a nail biting finish, Dean birdie the first playoff hole to win against local Chloe Armstrong (Townsville) This is Dean’s first Country Championship title, although she is a previous winner of the QLD Country Foursomes title.

In Division 2, Val Thompson (Townsville) won on a count back ahead of Sue Allsopp (Mackay). Division 3 was won by Jackie Hart (Bargara) who finished one point ahead of four others. Finally, Jessica McEwan (Mackay) was the runaway winner of Division 4 with 75 points.

Round 1 of the QLD Women's Country at Townsville Golf Club & Rowes Bay Golf Club with Sarah Lacey (North Rockhampton) leads our overall stroke with an opening round 83 (+10) in tricky conditions.

In the stableford competition, the round of the day belongs to Jessica McEwan (Mackay) who finished with 41 points!
