The Smashing Bumpkins had us all up and out of our seats to dance under the stunning full moon 🌕 for one last night of the 2024 Outback Queensland Masters - HOW GOOD WERE THEY?! 👏👏👏

What a way to end 6 weeks of golf road-tripping through Outback Queensland.

We already can't wait for 2025... Bring it on!

G'day from the Million Dollar Hole-in-One in Quilpie 🤠! Today is the culmination of a 6 week golfing adventure through Outback Queensland. One of the best things about the Outback Queensland Masters is the mates we meet along the way, and joining us for the first time this year, is fellow Queenslander Your Mates Brewing Co.

As the OQM saying goes, 'where we arrive as stangers, but leave as mates'. Thanks Jake for joining us - mate we've had a blast!

THE AGONY & ECSTASY OF RED DIRT GOLF! When you strike🏌 the ball from 150m away and it passes within inches ⛳of the million dollar hole-in-one. Take a close look below where the ball hit the red sand green and rolled on by👇

The tension is high, there's a million dollars on the line with just one hit. No pressure 😅. There's 149 golfers from every state of the nation, some travelling from afar (we're talking over 10,000 km) to be here.

If someone hits the hole-in-one, wherever you are in Australia, you'll hear the roar from Quilpie!

Future golfing champions in the making this morning at the Quilpie Golf Club with some travelling from afar to try their hand at golf, some for the first time, learning tips from PGA Pro, Darren Weatherall.

Special shoutout to the parents and grandparents who patiently stood by and dodged the golf balls! It was priceless to witness some toddlers crying as they tried to join in with their older siblings to give golf a go 😅!

The Free Junior Clinics are run at each location of the Outback Queensland Masters annually to give young people in Outback Queensland an opportunity to experience the joy of golf, and perhaps be inspired to take up the sport for life!

We reckon if you learn to master these red sand greens, you'll be able to play anywhere!

"ENCORE! ENCORE! The audience called". The gorgeous glow of twilight in red dirt country was the perfect setting for our first Dinner under the Stars in Qulipie.

A night filled with laughs thanks to comedian Anisa Nandaula for sharing her first hand insights of life as an Australian woman born in Uganda and how she navigates dating, finance and Aussie culture.

Following Anisa's on stage hilarious antics, the applause continued for The Kitty Kats. Dressed in fishnets, garters and feathers, we were enthralled with their non-stop Burlesque Show. Featuring an eclectic song list from Bette Midler to The Cure to the Rocky Horror Picture Show, they had us clapping, dancing and crying for more!

Glorious sunrise from Quilpie this morning for the final location of the 2024 Outback Queensland Masters!
