Farewell..

Thank you to everyone who came out and moshed, shouted, screamed, and sang along with us for one last time this past Saturday night.

To everyone who has supported us, and to the many venues who have hosted our music, THANK YOU!

Even if it's not together, we will all continue to create music, so don't think you have seen or heard the last of any of us.

It is with great sadness that tonight we announce the end of Dark Symphonica.

We are immensely proud of what we have achieved together for the past 6 and a half years that Dark Symphonica has been active. The friendships and memories you create by being in a band is a special feeling that can rarely be rivaled, and we’re very fortunate to have experienced this together. We have created an album, played some great shows, and met some incredibly talented and inspiring people all thanks to this band.

Unfortunately, sometimes the best things must come to an end, and we have decided that this is the right time for it.
Thank you to everyone who has ever supported us, bought our music/merch, seen us at a show, booked us for shows, and have simply taken the time to say hello. We are eternally grateful for everything.

We must also take a moment to thank three very important people in our past: Josh, Swan, and Fiona. Now, we join these three as chapters in the Dark Symphonica tale, and look forward as we discover new musical and personal adventures and challenges.

We walk away with some of our biggest highlights having been just recently achieved, which includes the release of our album ‘Immersion’, supporting Helloween, Ne Obliviscaris, Plini, and being nominated for 2 Queensland Music Awards.
We WILL be playing a farewell show. We will reveal the details soon, and hope that many of you can make it out to wish us goodbye.

Merch | Dark Symphonica

Hi guys - I just upgraded to a Galaxy S7. I was reading a review:

"Our tests confirmed that the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge can handle *immersion* for up to 30 minutes in 5 feet of water." (emphasis mine)

So I played our album last night, and the new S7 actually managed to play it three whole times through before my Rick Astley bedtime alarm went off.

So, overall. Very satisfied - S7 never gave up.

We started off the week attending the QMAs, and we get to finish it by playing tomorrow night with Darker Half, and other great Brisbane bands at the Back Room. Stoked!
