Last Wednesday, two teams of St Joachims Year 5 & 6 students at Villanova College participated in Minecraft E-sports Day. The event focused on recognising and developing collaborative skills for online gaming. These 'good gaming' skills were based on research from Melbourne University. A special thanks to Jason Lane from Villanova College for hosting the event.

A huge thank you to Joe Kelly for inviting our Senior Primary class to Parliament House last week for a tour and an opportunity to watch the Premier get questioned during estimates. The highlight of the tour was the Legislative Chamber, where QLD laws are made.

Welcome, lovely little Joy, to our beautiful school family! We look forward to seeing your beautiful smile in our playground.

On July 26, the Feast Day of St Anne and St Joachim, we honour the lives of Mary’s parents, the grandparents of Jesus.

We’re grateful to the grandparents and those who have been as family in our school communities who share their care, support and wisdom with our students.
