Cook / Kitchen Hand

We are a fast paced café located in Everton Hills, Brisbane North looking for an experienced Kitchen Hand / Cafe Cook to join our team. If you posses a passion for local produce, an eye for attention to detail we would love to hear from you. Reporting to the production supervisor your duties/responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
• follow recipes and presentation specifications
• assisting chef with basic food prep
• maintain a clean orderly work area
• control incoming goods and stock rotation
• maintain food safety standards
• operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• breakfast/lunch café service skills
• ability to remain calm under pressure
• willingness to function as part of a hard-working and fun-loving team
• breaks and staff meals included
• consecutive days off
Experience as a Cook / Kitchenhand is a must, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years kitchen experience.
Must be available Friday to Tuesday between 6.00am - 2.00pm.

Salary to be negotiated according to experience.

We are well known in the area for providing fast, friendly service and great coffee. We also provide short order breakfast and lunch.
We are looking for someone with experience in hospitality to join our dynamic, friendly and hardworking team who is able to provide outstanding customer service no matter how busy you are.
The right candidate must be reliable, hardworking, outgoing and friendly. Minimum 2 years experience as a Barista is essential.
We are offering between approx 30-38 hours per week Monday - Friday between 6.00am - 2.00pm and available weekends.
