This week we are supporting Nutrition Australia’s Try for 5 campaign as part of National Nutrition Week. This year, the Try for 5 theme is to ‘Get more veg in your life’. Vegetables are packed full of nutrients such as dietary fibre, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. Adequate consumption has been found to protect us against certain diseases. Yet only 7.5% of Australian adults eat the recommend 5 serves of veg a day. This week, to celebrate Try for 5, we will be aiming to eat 5 serves of veg a day and challenge you to do the same!
