The Drunken Monkey is Brisbane’s new home of funk. We’re all about bringing the fun back into a night out because don’t give a banana for boring.

We’re not your average, pompous, cocktail bar. We don’t self indulge in the pleasure it is to make you a drink. We’re about quick service, tasty drinks and funky beats to get you boogieing on that dance floor faster.

Come join us Thursday to Sunday every week for underground latin tunes, funk, soul and old school hop hop. When you cut a rug at The Monk we encourage you to go wild, you cheeky little monkey. And as those three wise monkeys said, we hear no, see no, speak no of what happens in our monkey club.

Our Facebook and Instagram is extension of our cheeky club. You’ll meet our family of banging bartenders and mad-monkey DJs, and go behind the scenes to be the first to know what’s on. We’ll treat you well with some social-only news and giveaways. It will be no one else’s monkey business ;-)
