Growing up, it was a weekly occurrence that as a family you would visit other family homes.
Prior to Facebook and instagram this is how Italians especially, stayed connected, how the children stayed close.
At some point our family would host other family visits.

On most dining tables you would find a few common things. Coffee, Chinotto, A variety of nuts, biscotti, fruit and these were usually offered....I especially enjoyed the Fennel Taralli. I would try to bite out the pieces of fennel first before eating the biscuit. 🤣

Can you remember any other fond memories from the table of food?

At least one dinner a week should be an antipasto dinner, it easy to put together, each family member chooses what they want and its delicious without needing to cook!

All you need to grab is:
- antipasto that your family enjoys (meat & veg)
- cheese
- bread
- a tray to serve it all on

*optional
- roasted capsicum in jar (just drain and add olive oil, salt, lemon juice)
- spicy marinated eggplant (straight from jar)
