President's Report from today's Annual General Meeting.

Today, on the 6th of December, we mark a significant milestone in our journey. Kedron Wavell Snooker Inc. celebrates 10 years since our pivotal transformation into an Incorporated Association, a significant step we took back on this day in 2013. 🌟

A decade ago, we embarked on a transformative journey, evolving from a sub-club of Kedron-Wavell to an independent, non-profit sporting club. This was our most pivotal change since forming in 1970 and has empowered us to grow and thrive as a dedicated community for cue sports enthusiasts.

In recognition of this milestone, our President Nate O'Connor and Treasurer Daniell Haenga paid a special visit to Kedron-Wavell. They presented a framed Certificate of Incorporation to Kedron-Wavell CEO Lyndon Broome, to thank them for continuing our partnership as our major club sponsor since our incorporation. It was Lyndon's foresight and support that greatly contributed to our successful transition.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Club Chermside for their partnership over the past decade. Your support has been instrumental in our growth and success.

Above all, we extend our deepest gratitude to YOU - our members and our dedicated volunteer Board Members, both past and present. Your passion, commitment, and support have been the lifeblood of our club.

𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲 - 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘁. With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of one of our long-standing members, Phil Bennett. Phil left us last Monday, at the age of 81.

Phil had been an integral part of our club for many years. Known for his old-school Australian charm, Phil was a vocal member who always sought to address the concerns and questions of others.

Due to declining health, Phil had to step back from club activities in July of this year. In accordance with his wishes, there was no service, and his body has been cremated.

We extend our deepest condolences to Phil's family and friends. He will be missed but never forgotten.
