The Qld Cricketers’ Club is proud to again be a major sponsor supporting the annual Shell Green T20 Cricket Match played at Brookfield Showgrounds this ANZAC Day. Each year the Lord Mayors 11 from take on the Australian Defence Force Army 11 in a tribute match, in honour of the famous game played by Australian troops during WWI at Gallipoli.

With an ANZAC service commencing from 9:30am before the match at 12pm, there is something for everyone at Brookfield including face painting for the kids, food stalls (QCC’s food truck will have delicious bacon & egg burgers for sale!), Heads or Tails games and rock climbing to name a few! What a day 👏🏻 as proud partners of we were thrilled to again host our annual fundraising lunch as part of our Beyond the Boundary program. Thank you to Roby and the ECM team who consistently show up for those in need, day in day out; today was for you as much as for those you provide for. It was our pleasure to put on this lunch to raise awareness and much needed funding for the Mission, and great to see all your supporters in the room doing the same. Raising money for , MC wowed us as usual and the engaging had the crowd laughing and also listening with intent. With 200 ladies in attendance, we raised $7,500 for this incredible charity. League at The Gabba has the royal seal of approval after The King 👑 stepped in to say g’day to CEO Lachlan Furnell at last Saturday night’s Broncos v Dolphins blockbuster alongside Public Works Minister Mick de Brenni. What a night it was!

One more sleep until the Broncos host the Dolphins at The Gabba tomorrow night! We look back to our NRL Launch at the Qld Cricketers’ Club last Friday that saw QCC Ambassadors & NRL, AFL & Cricket legends Steve Renouf, Simon Black and Ian Healy hand the keys to the stadium over to the Brisbane Broncos, before we heard from Broncos star Corey Oates and Coach Kevin Walters over lunch. Hosted by MC Michael Atkinson, it was a fantastic afternoon and a great way to welcome the Broncos to our home at The Gabba. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the day!
