We're seeking some amazing volunteers to help us raise funds for our Love of Learning Program!

How you may ask? We're part of another 50-50 raffle, so we're looking for some volunteers to join us for the Ladies Race Day to sell raffle tickets 🎫💙

It's always fun and high energy at these events, and we like to sprinkle in some friendly competition to see who can sell the most tickets! If you want to be part of the fun, please email or DM us.

We love hearing all the fun activities the young ones get up to while celebrating Pyjama Day, and we're so lucky to have such a beautiful community of childcare centres, schools and workplaces that join us to support foster kids with BIG dreams.

Congratulations to our Brisbane Pyjama Angel of the Year, Sheryl Fitzgerald. 👏

Over the past 15 years, Sheryl has supported 6 children in different homes, working consistently with two boys for the last 8 years. Sheryl has been visiting the boys since before they started primary school, and they have grown and progressed remarkably with her guidance.

🤲 She taught them how to engage with one another and help them be kind, compassionate and caring young people. She's always eager to support the family and help with challenges they face.

Sheryl, we cannot thank you enough for all your time, effort and contribution to the family and the community. 15 years is a huge commitment, one we don't take for granted. 🩵

We are so grateful for our Pyjama Angels for bringing comfort and support of family, making every moment a little brighter and every challenge a bit easier for children in care. ✨

Wishing a very happy birthday week to our amazing office volunteer and long-standing Pyjama Angel, Karen Cutlack. 🎂

Karen is a retired Early Childhood Educator and has been a Pyjama Angel for over 17 years. 👏 She has directly helped multiple children through being a Pyjama Angel in this time, but countless others through her ongoing support as an office volunteer at The Pyjama Foundation’s Head Office.

There is not a task Karen can’t tackle and her can-do attitude inspires and radiates through the office every Wednesday. ☀️ She is responsible for our volunteer packs, tracking our merchandise, preparing volunteer gifts, sorting and organising donations, and we can’t forget keeping everything under control during the Christmas period! 🤶🏼

Karen is an incredible asset to our organisation, and we are so happy to have her bright and busy nature in the office with us every Wednesday.

The theme this year is Every Conversation Matters, and it rings very true to our Love of Learning Mentoring Program.

Through thoughtful conversations mixed in with a lot of learning games and fun, our program shifts a child in care's perspective from feeling alone in a big scary world, to feeling supported and having the confidence to THRIVE.

The team at Mini Zali have been so incredible to us since they joined in on the National Pyjama Day fun last month! We have received two deliveries of baby/toddler clothes to pass along to families in our program. Just look at how cute these pieces are! 😍

We will never forget the day a beautiful Foster Carer who we had supported with previous children popped into the office on her way home from picking up newborn twins on the way home from the hospital. This amazing Carer shopped our giveaway section, which included generous donations like this.
