UFQ isn't just about just about training, we are also very community/member focused.

UFQ willawong is a safe comfortable environment for our members to not only train in but to be able to connect with one another, build friendships with others who are of similar age & we always encourage our members to socialise also outside of UFQ as well!

Today our long term UFQ members Kat and Sara decided to go out for brunch after training this morning up to Mt the Gravatt lookout!

Its great to see you both have formed such a great friendship while training at UFQ!

Congratulations to our UFQ member Robin who achieved her 300th UFQ workout milestone in the app this morning!!🥳👏

Combined with an epic weigh-in results this morning!!
Robin lost 4.3kgs and 11cms in girth measurements🎉 over the past x3 months.
Robins next goal is to loose another 5kgs again but smaller time frame this time!

We always say at UFQ to celebrate your small wins and milestones like this because they are all stepping stones to achieving great results/our big hairy audacious goals! (Jason's fave saying)

Our UFQ club champion award goes to...
Laura🎉😀
Laura completed her 120th UFQ group class/workout this week!🥳

Laura has been consistently showing up each and every week 4-5 times per week over the past 7 months!💪

Every morning at 6am Laura comes into UFQ with positive energy⚡️ encouraging and motivating🎉 our other 6am members to push themselves that little bit more!

Laura also loves to have a dance💃break in between sets with our members.

Lastly we want to thank Laura for shouting some of our members pizza🍕 and garlic bread🥖 at our last social putt putt⛳️ event, this was so thoughtful and kind of you!🙌

Neta recently achieved her 450th UFQ group class/workout 🎉 through our training app!!
This is a huge personal achievement and milestone for Neta.🙌

Neta also came along to Berrinba park run and walked🚶🏼‍♀️ the 5km course in celebration for member Sonia's 100th parkrun milestone.!!

Jenny🥳
Jenny recently joined UFQ only a few months ago. She has completed a total of x33 UFQ group classes recorded in our UFQ training app.

Jenny has been consistently training 3-4 times per week combined with, walking nearly every single day since her journey first began at UFQ.

Jenny brings great positive energy to our afternoons at UFQ and is always encourage others especially her husband David who also recently joined our amazing community!!

You do NOT need a gym to improve your health & fitness!

There is really no excuse when it comes to working on yourself.
You don't need a personal trainer 5 times per week, you don't need to sign up to a gym, and you don't need any equipment - you can still make big improvements from the comfort of your own home.

We did have a few hiccups at the start and then sadly at the end one of the digital scorecards decided to freeze...

Coach Timothy Steward took out top score for one 🏌‍♀️group!

And we will say it was a tye between myself and Lesley in our 2nd group based on overall performance shots🏌‍♀️🤣

All In all it was a great morning out socializing outside of our usual gym UFQ setting.!

We had many laughs🤣 and even some of the ladies decided to do karaoke🎤🎶 singing to Elton John while out on the putt putt⛳️ course!

Raff was training at our Brisbane location before relocating to Adelaide where she continues her training under the guidance of our Online Fit Over 40🏋‍♀️ Program!🙌

Here is what she has to say:

“Starting back up at a new gym after having moved away from UFQ willawong and Brisbane was a real personal challenge for me.
After seven months of relocating to Adelaide and doing no exercise I decided it was time to reach back out to Alana and Jase at UFQ- that problem was solved immediately.!!

My UFQ app and previous exercise training history was reinstated and Coach Alana created me a brand new customised program that was tailored to restarting my strength training and fitness journey which I could do out of a local gym.

I couldn’t have done it quite so easily if it had not been for the encouragement and support of UFQ coach Alana, especially in how to navigate the new gym scenario without that help and support of the UFQ, Willawong environment.
Doing it on my own without the guidance of UFQ online training, would've been so much harder.
Getting started is always the hardest part. You just have to whip yourself into action, no matter how difficult. It is so worth it.”

our 6am Willawong member Robin!!
Robin has been consistently attending x3 group classes per week now for the past x2 months.
Robin added in that x1 extra class per week over the past x2 months which helped her achieve some great results in her most recent weigh in!
Robin lost a total of 3kgs & dropped 9cms in total girth measurements.

Q. What is UFQ?

A. Hey there Jason here from UFQ.

I wanted to tell you all about UFQ, and what it is?

See you might think UFQ is really just another gym, when in fact it isn't.

See I consider UFQ to be a private coaching studio specifically for people 40+.

Yes, 40+ meaning if you are not over the age of 40 you can't attend.

And yes, it's private. What this means is we limit the amount of total members we have to ensure we provide a high level of customer service.

See I have been in the fitness industry for over 15 years and I realised there was really only two options for people over 40.

1. You could join a big box gym. They are overwhelming, often intimidating and unless you know what to do your really left to wonder around on your own.

Or

2. You could join one of those high intensity high impact large group fitness gyms, but the majority of people we work with found these to be way to intense. They also offer no customised programming if you have any aches, limitations or previous injuries.

So.....enter UFQ.

I created a space that understands what over 40's needed. They needed small groups. They need to build strong and resilient bodies. They needed to work on overall health & longevity. They need exercises that are appropriate for their current fitness level.

See UFQ is NOT just another gym.

And we like to think we are a little bit special...in a good way.
