A Bittersweet Farewell and an Exciting New Chapter

After nearly a decade of serving up authentic Greek food, we're announcing the closure of our James St location - the very first home of The Yiros Shop.

When we opened our doors here almost 10 years ago, we had a simple dream: to bring authentic, delicious Greek food to Brisbane. Little did we know that this small shop would be the beginning of something much bigger.

As we've grown, so have our needs. To better serve our customers and accommodate our expansion, we've already relocated to a larger space at Valley Metro (Fortitude Valley Train Station). This move isn't just about more room - it's about evolution.

We're excited to announce that we'll be going through a full brand refresh in the near future. Our new location at Valley Metro provides the perfect canvas for this transformation, allowing us to fully realise our vision for The Yiros Shop's next chapter.

To our loyal customers, staff, and everyone who's been part of our James St journey - thank you. Your support has fuelled our growth beyond our wildest dreams.

While we're sad to say goodbye to James St, we're truly excited about what's to come. We hope you'll join us at our new location, where we'll continue serving up the flavours you love, with a fresh new look and feel.

Our last day of trading at James St will be October 10th. Until then, come by for one last Yiros at the place where it all started.
