Looking for a Healthy Recipe Experiment? Try This Mediterranean style Bulgur-Stuffed Bell Peppers! 🌶️🍽️
Ingredients;
1 cup Duru Bulgur,
4 large bell peppers (any color),
1 tablespoon olive oil,
1 small onion, finely chopped,
2 cloves garlic, minced,
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved,
1/2 cup black olives, sliced,
1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese,
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil,
1 tablespoon lemon juice,
Salt and pepper to taste.
Cook Duru Bulgur according to package instructions. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove seeds and membranes. Set aside. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté until softened. Stir in the cherry tomatoes and cook until they begin to break down, about 3-4 minutes. Mix the cooked bulgur with the tomato-onion mixture. Add olives, feta cheese, fresh basil, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. Spoon the bulgur mixture into the prepared bell peppers, packing it tightly. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the peppers are tender.
Garnish with additional fresh basil if desired. Enjoy your Mediterranean-style stuffed peppers!

Materials:
3.5 glasses of water
1.5 teaspoons of salt
1 small cabbage
1 onion
2 spoonful butter
1.5 tablespoons of tomato paste
1 cup Duru Başbası bulgur
300 g medium-fat ground meat
3 tablespoons sumac
2 teaspoons of red pepper
1/2 bunch of parsley
1 bunch of dill
2 small tomatoes
Preparation of:
Put 3 glasses of water on the stove in a large pot, add 1 teaspoon of salt when it boils. Release the cabbage leaves two or three at a time and boil them for 3-4 minutes by turning them upside down (Do not pour the boiling water, keep it waiting).
In a bowl, mix ground meat, bulgur, 1 small chopped tomato, parsley, 1 tablespoon of tomato paste, chili pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1 glass of water thoroughly.
Cut off the thick and hard parts of the cabbage leaves and divide the leaves into 3 parts.
Put enough of the mortar on one end of the leaves and wrap it, close the opening by turning both ends inward with the index finger and place them neatly in the pot.
Melt the oil, add the remaining paste and stir a little. Add 1 glass of water from the boiling water of the cabbage, pour it over the of wraps when it boils.
Sprinkle finely chopped onion and tomato over the wraps.
Place a plate on top, cover it and place it on the stove.
When it boils, reduce the heat and cook until the cabbage and mortar soften, about 40-50 minutes.
Serve with sumac sprinkled on top.
