In a mother’s womb were two babies. One asked the other: “Do you believe in life after delivery?”The other replied, “Why, of course. There has to be something after delivery. Maybe we are here to prepare ourselves for what we will be later.”

“Nonsense,” said the first. “There is no life after delivery. What kind of life would that be?”

The second said, “I don’t know, but there will be more light than here. Maybe we will walk with our legs and eat from our mouths. Maybe we will have other senses that we can’t understand now.”

The first replied, “That is absurd. Walking is impossible. And eating with our mouths? Ridiculous! The umbilical cord supplies nutrition and everything we need. But the umbilical cord is so short. Life after delivery is to be logically excluded.”

The second insisted, “Well I think there is something and maybe it’s different than it is here. Maybe we won’t need this physical cord anymore.”

The first replied, “Nonsense. And moreover, if there is life, then why has no one ever come back from there? Delivery is the end of life, and in the after-delivery, there is nothing but darkness and silence and oblivion. It takes us nowhere.”

“Well, I don’t know,” said the second, “but certainly we will meet Mother and she will take care of us.”

The first replied “Mother? You actually believe in Mother? That’s laughable. If Mother exists then where is She now?”

The second said, “She is all around us. We are surrounded by her. We are of Her. It is in Her that we live. Without Her, this world would not and could not exist.”

Said the first: “Well I don’t see Her, so it is only logical that She doesn’t exist.”

To which the second replied, “Sometimes, when you’re in silence and you focus and listen, you can perceive Her presence, and you can hear Her loving voice, calling down from above.”

You cannot receive something from another which you don’t have for yourself.

As a sensitive soul, don’t let anyone tell you:

🐢 That you have to be tougher
🐢 That ”Everyone else” manages it
🐢 That “This is how the world works”

✔️Most people who tell you this are tough on themselves!

✔️And these are the people who profit immensely from your softness, from your compassion, from your love, from your radiance, from your kindness, from your depth!

✔️Surround yourself with people who understand you, who encourage you and who love and support your sensitive nature.

✔️Also accept that you are not for everyone and that’s a good thing. As long as you are for yourself. Accept and love yourself as you are and the right people will love you back.

Friday 13th. 🙏🏻❤️

Mercury goes retrograde today and we’re catapulted back to our past.

Don’t be surprised if you see, hear from or dream about people whom you met, from a previous version of yourself.

This is happening in Capricorn. The sign that represents maturity…so there could be communications with or around elders/authority figures or older family members…. or conversations about them, musing on the past.

The tricky thing about this energy is - there’s a heavy dose of reality around “things will never be the same again.”

Almost like an old pair of shoes just doesn’t fit anymore and despite your greatest efforts to walk in them… it ain’t happening.

You’ll feel where you don’t fit.

Where the shoe no longer fits.

And it can be.. well… it can leave a strange feeling in the pit of your stomach knowing we just can’t slot into that role anymore.

It’s disconcerting.

And.

The recognition of “the only way is forward” can encourage you to quietly plot a blaze of glory into a new expansive version of yourself that will absolutely blossom further and wider throughout 2023.

As much as we can respect tradition….
you’re not here to stay the same.

The more optimistic essence of this transit is joyful times shared with elders or past soul buddies that will make more glorious, treasured memories for the memory bank.

Don’t be hard on yourself for not fitting in to the mold of a previous version of yourself, that you have outgrown.

If you’ve outgrown that metaphorical pair of shoes.. I’m proud of you.

That’s what we’re here for.

To break the mold & revolutionize (and also honor where we came from, as it made us who we are today.)

As Mercury retrogrades here - make peace with your past.

Mostly the part about not having to fit in to a pre-conceived ideal or conditioning anymore.

Reflect on where you’ve come from.

Honor the path.

And start to map out where you’re going…as Capricorn means business.
