Calling all grillers!

ENTRIES ARE NOW OPEN for Far North Queensland’s biggest BBQ competition.

FNQ BBQ & Brews Festival will be held on Saturday 12 November at Stratford Dolphins Football Club and we now invite entrants from across the region to vie for the illustrious titles (and bragging rights!) plus great prizes in both the Professional and Amateur categories of the Pitmaster BBQ Competition hosted by The Dreaded Chef, and the event run by "The Festival Guy" from Freshwater.

Whether you are a seasoned griller or a first-timer, this event is your chance to fire up your BBQ and show us what ya got!

This weekend I took The Dreadnought up to to cook some amazing Beef Ribs from these ribs were cooked to perfection with the aid of using the IHT-1P instant read thermometer!
