32,000 people are hospitalised in Queensland each year because of skin cancers, including melanoma.
Sunscreen protects your skin from the sun's dangerous ultraviolet (UV) rays and can help prevent skin cancer, including life-threatening melanoma. This is backed by science.
Make sunscreen a part of your daily routine ๐ช

The Queensland School Immunisation Program offers every Year 10 student in Queensland free immunisation against meningococcal ACWY, given in 1 dose, as part of the National Immunisation Program.
Some of the highest rates of meningococcal disease occur among 15 to 19 year olds and this age group can transmit the meningococcal bacteria to people who are at increased risk of infection, including young children. As there is a safe and effective vaccine that covers strains A, C, W and Y, Year 10 students are being offered the vaccination.
It's important to complete vaccination consent forms to ensure your child is vaccinated under Queensland's School Immunisation Program โ
One of the vaccines your grade 7 aged child will receive this year is for Human papillomavirus (HPV), which is administered in two doses at least 6 months apart. For more information about The Queensland School Immunisation Program and catch-up vaccinations, visit ๐ https://vaccinate.initiatives.qld.gov.au/when-to-immunise/children-and-adolescents/
