In conjunction with Norths Cricket Club and as part of the Cairns Cricket Association, Rovers Cricket Club is eager to welcome new junior players.

- Junior Cricket Blast for kids aged 5-10 years
- Weekly Friday night sessions (Break over xmas holidays)
- Learn the skills through fun, modified games
- We'll take care of the equipment

This is a great opportunity for boys and girls aged 5-10 to get involved in cricket, make new friends, and learn the basics of the game.

Rovers Cricket Club invites all young cricketers and their families to our Junior Sign-On afternoon.

Rovers senior club training to commence this Thursday. With the fitness pre-season week 2 tomorrow at St Andrew’s, we will be back 2 days a week now with Thursdays at Endeavour Park for standard training. 5pm start.

Junior training will commence August 7th with a flyer to come out next week with more information.

A big congratulations to Ian de Lange a Rovers junior on his recent success 🤩

Ian recently represented the NSW (New South Wales) under 15 Cricket Team in the Century Cricket T20 State of Origin Competition that took place on the Sunshine Coast.

The competition included two teams from Victoria, one from QLD and an Allies Team.

Due to the weather, Ian’s Team only managed to play three games.

Ian’s individual included:
🏏 Ian scored 84 Runs in 2 Innings which included 51(46) and 33(30).
🏏 Bowling in 3 Innings, Ian took 3 Wickets with an Economy Rate of 6.19
🏏 Ian was also selected in an Australian XI Team that was made up from the best 11 Players in the Tournament.

Although this team will not play together, it was still a huge honour being selected.

In September Ian will be off playing for the Moreton Magic Franchise in the Century Cricket T20 Competition QLD. Keep up the great cricket Ian.

This round runs from 1 July 2024 until 28 May 2025 and you can use your voucher anytime within the year.

Whether your child plays winter or summer sport, you can apply in this round and hold onto your voucher until you're ready to sign on.

These vouchers offer up to $200 for children aged 5 to 17, to help cover the costs of participating in sport, and keep more Queenslanders active.
