We had a great time with my family. We got the Seafood tower and Tomahawk steak. Beautifully cooked.

The atmosphere was beautiful and one of a kind. Enjoyed eating at the aquarium, it felt special and a must try since you’re in Cairns. We booked a few days prior just after learning about the place, and only managed to score the 3rd row from the glass.

Wasn’t well advertised as we looked at many places before choosing where to spend my wifes birthday but so glad we found this place.

It’s well priced and worth it.

It was very kid friendly also. The kids 8,8,9yrs old enjoyed colouring their menu, then they ate well and got to look closely at the fishes that kept them entertained.”

For those who do not know, the Cardiac Challenge is an annual 3-day cycle ride from Cairns to Cooktown all the with aim to raise money for the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation to support the Cardiac Unit at Cairns Hospital.

“Staying in Cairns for 5 nights I tried a different restaurant every night and Dundees at the Aquarium was the absolute best. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Dining outside or near the water wall of the Aquarium. A menu that shows off the amazing seafood of FNQ.

All the team were professional and provided excellent suggestions when it came to selecting my meal. Wonderful beverage list to complement the food.

“Okay, so everyone should do themselves a favour and eat at this amazing restaurant! We were lucky to secure a table right by the massive fish tank, so this in itself was just brilliant! This, however, was not the best part of the restaurant..it was definitely the incredible food. I selected the garlic prawns for entree, and I'm telling you it was the best I've ever eaten. Huge juicy prawns and the garlic sauce was out of this world amazing and also encased with puff pastry layer below and on top!

I then selected the seafood plate, which was also incredibly tasty! 10 out of 10 for seafood quality and taste.”
