Beach days are the best!

On today's agenda: A trip to Commonwealth Park in the city, where I know a colony of Grey-Headed Flying Foxes migrate through.

Okay, I know, Dingoes are actually more related to wolves than dogs, but...

Another lovely visit to Canberra Reptile Zoo today! The Sugar Gliders are ALWAYS cute and I also got to meet an adorable Ring-tailed Possum :)

what better to do on a cold and windy day than a trip to the warm Canberra Reptile Zoo? Plenty of cool critters to see!

Ducks, but no ugly ducklings here! Definitely some adorable cygnets, though. It felt good to be back out with the camera again.

Who doesn't like at least one type of flower? I love many! Can you tell? 😉

Like beaches? These are some from the trip, a couple of them are from Coffs Harbour, some from the Gold Coast, including The Spit.

I'm on holiday, so naturally I have the camera with me. I don't have a laptop to download them all, but I do have Nikon Snapbridge on my phone. Here's a taste of day 1.

I know, I've said it before, but... Tidbinbilla always delivers!

Spent my morning at Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve again today. It's been a very long time since I've been, and because it's a weekday, it was much more quiet... except for the critters. I was lucky enough to see many creatures in my wander.

I know I've been very slow in posting. I've been in poor health and of course it's been very wet here over the last several years courtesy of La Nina.

From a brief wander I had today...

LOVELY morning this morning, and I made the most of it with a friend out at the amazing Jerrabomberra Wetlands. Almost everything we saw was birds, but also a mouse in a tree. I'm not sure if it's native or not, but it sure is cute.

Sunday was a trip to the Canberra Reptile Zoo with the youngest!

What a way to spend a morning!

Went out to Mulligans Flat Woodland Sanctuary today for a lovely walk, including down to the dam. It was relatively quiet.

Weston Park was today's destination, and there were plenty of birds around to be photographed.

Today, I hopped on my bicycle and rode down to a local pond with the camera. Plenty to be seen, as you can tell.
