The Disher Cup Regatta is a six-race event held annually between the rowing teams of the Australian Defence Force Academy, The Australian National University, and The Royal Military College - Duntroon.
The Disher Cup was named after Captain Harold Clive Disher of the Australian Army Medical Corps. Captain Disher stroked the 1919 Australian Imperial Forces crew that beat Oxford University at the Henley Peace Regatta.
This year the cup went to ANU. Congratulations to all the teams who carry the spirit of the original crew and the cup's namesake, Captain Disher.

Working together 💪
The Royal Military College - Duntroon hosted the second Military Partnership (MILPAR) Conference for officer training institutions within the Pacific.
Australia, Fiji, Malaysia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Singapore and Tonga came together to share information, discuss ab initio training, and observe cadets conducting leadership activities during Exercise Stretton at the Majura Training Area.
The conference aims to further strengthen our regional relationships, collaborate on ideas and training techniques, and discuss future exchanges for instructors and students.
👏 Our newest trainee officers are settling into life at Duntroon following their first weeks of initial training.
After saying goodbye to their families, they arrive at Duntroon to meet their classmates, settle in to their accommodation, receive their uniform, commence classes, and of course, begin physical training!
Their first rite of passage will be the Three Peaks Walk and Lanyard Parade. This represents the end of initial training, and induction of trainees into the Corps of Staff Cadets.
Families are invited to attend the Lanyard Parade, which will be at 11.30am on the 26 October on the Duntroon Parade Ground.
Cadets from I and II Class have been learning about life in other military academies and deepening their understanding of our regional partners during the Foreign Academy Exchange Program (FAEP).
During their recent study tour, cadets visited Thailand and took part in language lessons, shooting practice, physical training, and visiting Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy.
We look forward to hosting cadets from Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and India later this year.

Cadets put their physical fitness and team-building skills to the test during the recent Lee Shield Battle PT sessions.
Some of our II Class cadets had the honour of visiting Indonesia as part of the Foreign Academy Exchange Program recently.
This year marks 50 years of military cadet exchanges between Australia and Indonesia.
The exchange coincided with a visit to Indonesia by Australia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence, the Hon Richard Marles MP.
During his visit, the Minister signed the historic Australia-Indonesia Defence Cooperation Agreement.
Our cadets enjoyed the opportunity to meet Indonesian cadets and visit the National Military Academy of Indonesia (Akademi Militer).

💬 Families and friends of I Class: Do you have any questions about our upcoming graduation parade on Tuesday 13 August? Post them below and we'll answer them 👇
Our cadets develop and practice their plans both in the classroom and in the field.
During the Foundation Plans Module, cadets conduct ground appreciation to understand the terrain they will operate in.
Last night all three classes joined together with staff and instructors for the Corps of Staff Cadets dining in night.
This is a military tradition that builds camaraderie and observes long-held customs throughout the evening.
We were fortunate to host former Chief of Army, Lieutenant General (ret'd) Rick Burr, AO, DSC, MVO, and former Regimental Sergeant Major of the Army, Warrant Officer Grant McFarlane, AM.
