Here at Sacred Experience, we have access to 2 gyms where you can lift heavy weights. You can also lift heavy weights outside at the park. If you would prefer, we can come to your house with weights and you can lift weights there.
We lift weights forward, backwards, overhead, diagonally and sideways. We lift weights with our arms and back and chest and legs and core. We lift weights whilst stationary and whilst moving. You'll never get bored with all the different ways you can lift weights.

About the Role:
Our business is growing and we are seeking to employ a casual Personal Trainer to join our team. The successful applicant will build their own portfolio of One on One PT clients and Semi-Private Training clients with help from the Director and the Marketing and Administration Officer.
Job Duties:
1. Deliver One on One Personal Training and Semi-Private Training Sessions to clients in a range of locations as agreed in advance and to the highest possible quality. As part of this duty the Employee is required to:
- Arrive at least 15 minutes early to the session to setup and check equipment.
- Present well to the session. The Employee should be clean, alert and wear appropriate fitness attire.
- Greet the client courteously upon arrival and make them feel welcome. Address any administrative matters such as availability and the issuing of Rewards Program entitlements.
- Briefly recap the client’s main goals and how the session today will assist them to progress.
- Check-in with the client before training to identify their current energy levels, how they are feeling, and whether they have any niggles or concerns. If the client had homework to do from the previous session then that should be checked.
- Ensure the client completes a full warm-up, is thoroughly stretched and is given myofasical release exercises as necessary.
- Deliver the session as planned or modify it intelligently depending on the client’s needs in session.
- Ensure the client completes a cool-down, has a chance to relax and is stretched as needed so that they leave the session feeling happy and fulfilled. Ask the client how they found the session and listen to their feedback.
- Set any homework that the client needs to complete before the next session.
- Confirm the time of the next session.
2. Carefully plan each upcoming session in advance so that the training assists the client progress towards their fitness goals. As part of this there are workouts and resources available on the Physiotec platform.
3. Ensure that administrative matters, such as cancellations, reschedules or forfeits are dealt with promptly or are promptly referred to the Marketing and Administration Officer.
4. Provide 1-2 hours of marketing support each week.
5. Attend one supervision session each week with the Director via Zoom.
6. Undertaking ongoing learning and development and cultivating a philosophy of continuous improvement.
Required Skills:
Certificate III in Fitness
Certificate IV in Fitness
Senior First Aid
Prior experience is not required for this role however it will be an advantage. Extensive training and development opportunities will be provided.
Job Type: Casual
Salary: $26.00 – $40.00 per hour + allowances
COVID-19 considerations:
All equipment, particularly mats, is required to be wiped down after each use. We recommend wearing masks in social settings, particularly indoors and when training vulnerable clients.
