The New Year is almost here and we are about to take some time off! We hope you have a Happy New Years and a good start to 2023.

We will be out of the country travelling from the 30th December to the 7th of February. For much of this time we will be unavailable to contact, but can get in touch when we arrive back if it is not urgent.

We came to this property in Mount Cotton to run a new powerpoint to the septic system. The previous owner had it feeding off an extension lead running through the garden bed, so this update has made a much safer and permanent solution.

While installing these new outdoor spotlights at this home in Sunnybank, we came across the skin of a rather large snake. We are glad we didn't run into its owner while we ran the cables for these new lights.

This new shed in Cedar Grove was ready for its electrics to be fitted. We installed six 200w LED high-bay lights, and finished off the electronic roller door to get this shed ready for the owner to kit out.

This switchboard was in need of a big upgrade to its safety after some of the old wires had completely burnt out causing a big fire hazard underneath the main living.

We moved the switchboard into a new fireproof housing that includes their meter, attached to the outside of the home, and improving the circuits and bringing it up to modern safety standards to avoid this happening again.

We have been working on a huge home renovation project in Ashmore redoing all of the electricals in this home! We showed you Stage one last week where we upgraded their switchboard, and next up was rewiring the whole house.

As the home had undergone several different renovations over the years there were a lot of connectors within the existing wiring. To help streamline every thing and make establishing new switches and circuits throughout easier and cleaner we removed all the old cables and rewired the whole house. We came out to this property to rebuild their switchboard and help fix some electrical issues.

We added a new point of attachment as the old one was burnt out. With that also came a mains upgrade to help with the extra load from new air conditioners and an induction cooktop.

We replaced the old hallogen downlights in this Cornubia home to fresh new flush mount LED lighting. Now their home is much brighter and more energy efficient!

We were called out to help with this aerial line upgrade, after the neighbours trees damaged the aerial cables on this Mt Cotton property. These aerial lines brought power from the street onto the property and 250 meters of overhead lines needed to be replaced.

This was a huge job, where we ended up winching the aerial cable with our work vehicle to keep tension. The winch wasn't only handy for cable installation, it also helped drag our vehicles back out of all the mud after we got bogged in on the job.

We installed new lighting and double outdoor power points at both ends of this pontoon in Fairfield.

We installed this new flood light with sensor and switch to help light up the clothes line area of this home in Robertson. A sensor light is perfect for a high traffic area like this and allows for easier use of the washing line when it is dark out.

We visited this client in Springwood to update some of their smoke alarms to meet the new regulations coming in over the next five years.

We installed a generator point, break switch, and amber light on this home to give them a backup power source if the grid drops supply 👌 The Amber light will start strobing when grid supply returns so the customer knows they can shut down the generator, which you can see in our latest Instagram Reel below:

The owners of this Carina home called us in to make some much needed updates to their switchboard and to improve meter access. We moved the full switchboard and meter to the side of the home from underneath the house, taking away the old timber enclosure and installing a fireproof enclosure to improve fire safety!

This Yeronga home has been going through some big renovations and we recently went back to complete it's newest electrical changes - new fans and light fittings throughout the home!

The owners chose streamlined fans for the outdoor patio to help improve air flow with the blinds down, and inside went for more traditional style fixtures that would balance the modern renovations with the era of the property. We particularly love the pendant from image three that really adds some extra detail to the room!
