This is one of my favourites! Shepard's pie! I love using lean lamb mince for this recipe, it gives it such a beautiful taste and we all need variation too!
I did a quarter of it with sweet mashed potato and the rest with mashed potato because the fam bam prefers potatoes!
Recipe card will be uploaded over the next week so keep an eye out everybody!

Feeling snackish? This is my go to snack! Especially when I am at work and it'c crazy busy! The mix of Protein, Fats and Carbohydrates keep me feeling fuller for longer either till it's lunch time or before the long drive home :)

I apologise for being so M.I.A but I’m baccccckkkkk!

So last time, I promised I would be back with a new adventure and here it is! I am back, healthy, happy and on track! Body Catalyst - Body Contouring Experts has officially opened up in Cronulla. My new adventure allows me to tie in my back ground as a Nutritionist and P.T all in one as well as offering the best Medical Grade Technology available to treat areas of the body that need a kick in the butt, or areas, that diet and exercise simply cannot eliminate.

I am still offering Nutritional Services privately as my previous clients know, but also through the clinic!

You’ll be seeing more posts as of today, because I’m back with a mission!

Where do I begin? How do I say thank you infinitely in words? Today was a beautifully emotionally hilariously gorgeous day. Today was my last day at Dapto Osteopathic Clinic . Words cannot even express how grateful and blessed I was and I am to have been given the opportunity to work with such warm hearts and incredible souls.
To the team that have become my friends and my family, I promise you this is not goodbye because I hold you too dear to my heart..so sorry guys you ain't getting ridding of me that easy haha! Catch ups are coming! But in all seriousness...every single one of you have taught me something..have inspired me to strive for my goals and have showed me how friends quite literally become family. There is not one multidisciplinary clinic like ours.. I think we're definitely number one!
To my patients who have become my beautiful friends...each and everyone one of you are absolutely amazing human beings! We grew closer in our little groups... I would like to say that it was my profession to help you..but you all honestly helped me in return, that is out of this world! You all inspired me to become the best version of myself every single day so thank you! My favourite is watching you all achieve results..seeing your smiling faces walk out with accomplishment and hearing all the crazy stories we all share:)
Adam, you took me in as a freshie (straight outta uni)...allowed me to stand on my feet...helped me gain independence, guided me towards the top, taught me success, showed me the true meaning of my career and taught me the importance of belief and courage, THANK YOU

Working in Sydney means I have to prep prep prep and ladies and gentlemen... my slow cooker is my best friend! Tonight it's pulled pork shoulder , green beans and cauliflower mash and it's a winner!!
Learn to love the slow cooker guys! It's quick and so easy..I'm even working it into my days off so I'm not spending hours in the kitchen!!

RECIPE OF THE WEEK!

Now, last week if you had watched the news, Dr Joanne McMillan went through top red pasta sauces to add to your pasta or tasty Bolognese and the pasta sauce we eat every week hit the charts, along with Macro!!

It’s now time to share my recipe of the week, my yummy Turkey Spag Bol with my secret sauce: Ricotta and Basil from Jamie Oliver! Ok, I know, the sound of Turkey for most seems a little ridiculous or “ewww”, but you are totally MISSING out! The turkey becomes so soft and soaks up the juices so well! It’s the best way to get in a different source of protein without the kids realising too!

You can choose to have it either with pasta or I love having it on a bed of zucchini veggettied!

And even better with a shave of parmesan on top!!

Get the kids into it and feel free to add some more ingredients!

These take 2 days to make. I will be making these on Saturday and baking them on Sunday ready for Easter morning coffees and cups of warm cocoa!

Looking for a NOT SO GUILTY BUT DAYAMMM YUMMY Easter treat? Try these little jam packed muffins! Get the kiddies involved!!!! Teresa Cutter never fails to impress me with her flavour full foods!

I’ve posted up the nutritional info for you guys too, per muffin!
I didn’t cook mine for 45 mins, that was way too long, mine were in for about 25 mins. They did come out a little dry, so feel free to add an extra egg white in there, or a little extra milk!

They were so yummy, my partner loved them as a snack for uni and work, and so did I!

So lately, I've seen poster after post, after picture, after quote about how good lemons are for our health. I know they are, you know they are, we've always been taught they're benefits. Well, if you're like me, you've been taught them but been a little lazy to see what they would do for your body.
So, I did a little experiment on my own for 2 weeks so I could share with you guys, the BENEFITS that i felt towards MY body in consuming just 700ml of lemon water a day, and let me tell you, it WAS NOT disappointing at all!
SO..... go on and have a good read. (Oh and like everybody else, I did add a few extra things I knew about) !

What's for dinner tonight?? At 40 degrees..this is a perfect idea!
Last night we had homemade Thai beef salad and some brown rice on the side for some added carbs!
So tasty!! And soooo many herbs and spices!

Nothing beats a fresh feed of fish, caught locally at Hill 60! Even better, a fresh pot of fish stock!

This menu was good old King fish. We took it home and filleted it, then used the head and bones to make a stock. All we did was add… water, salt, pepper, lemon, parsley and a little bit of garlic. WE DRANK IT and it was beautiful!

Oil? Yes you can see that in the mugs, it was the natural oils coming from the fish, good old unsaturated fats (omega 3 fatty acids- great for heart and brain health!). The health benefits behind those mugs is enormous, we got a great dose of IODINE, Amino Acids, CALCIUM, GelAtiN, ELECTROLYTES and ThyRoiD hormone!

My Christmas delights! Christmas lunch was at my place this year so salads and meat were my specialty!

There was beetroot walnut and feta salad... potato and dill with aioli dressing...Greek salad...and my famous Christmas tree salad( a little veg and fruit combined)!!
