Cleverman: a superhero for the past, present and future’, is a wonderfully relevant exhibition for Media Arts, Media Studies and Creative Arts students. It showcases rich examples of conceptualisation and design that is involved in the making of a series like this, from drawing, storyboarding to costume design and use of digital tools in the design process.
Further to this, there are comprehensive study guides produced by ATOM. Currently at on at NCCA.

The Australian Centre for Moving Image () is coming to the NT for the first time.

Please join us Saturday 24 February, 10am for the launch of ‘Cleverman: a superhero for the past, present and future’, an exhibition that celebrates the groundbreaking and critically acclaimed Indigenous superhero series.

Exploring First Nations storytelling, language and creativity, production design, costumes and props, this free exhibition invites audiences to listen-first and immerse themselves in a powerful and contemporary expression of The Dreaming.

‘Cleverman’ will be officially opened by NCCA Chair Alastair Shields, with a performance and Welcome to Country by Edwin Fejo of the Youth Mill.

Exhibition runs 24 February—27 April 2024.
