A big thank you to everyone who made it along to Land for Wildlife’s Wildlife First Aid workshop on the weekend, and a HUGE thanks to Darwin Wildlife Sanctuary for delivering a very informative presentation on how we can help our furry, feathered and scaled friends. We also learnt ways that we can minimise causing harm to wildlife on our properties such as:
🐦removing or flagging any barbed wire fencing
🦘keeping any garden netting taut
🦔turning outdoor ceiling fans off when not in use
🦇providing a ramp out of pools and ponds
Everyone also got to take home a cardboard carrier to kick start their wildlife first aid kits!
🌿 Land for Wildlife Coordinators, Kim and James, have been out and about signing up our newest members who have been doing an amazing job at conserving habitat on their properties for native wildlife. These Land for Wildlife legends have been promoting natural habitat through w**d management and native revegetation. We look forward to visiting more properties soon and welcoming more new members for 2024! 🌿
