Get ready for an exciting night at the track this Sunday Evening! Here's our preview for the upcoming races at Darwin Greyhound Racing:

Racing Preview

Race 1. Mum Said Yes in box 1 will be hard to beat here. Shian Kylie will be her main competitor. Northern Lion is in box 8 and is worth a look. Keep an eye on newcomer to Darwin, So Naïve, who has trialled well.

Race 2. This is a good race! Mojo Herrera will have early favouritism but there are a number of great chances here. Roma Blue in box 1, Quick Shadow in box 8, Nick The Quick and Bart’s Chance, they all will make this race a great spectacle!

Race 3. Flip Your Fifty in box 1. Wow, what a combination. He will be hard to beat but not impossible. The dogs to take it to him are Tahonta in box 8 and Nora’s Boy in box 6.

Race 4. Another quality field in this one. Go Jo looks good here but will have to overcome River Rough, Not Bad Yourself, Our Therapy and Stupify. Look for Kanji Service as well!

Race 5. An even field in this race with Time To Reign early favourite, but with Lawn Keeper, Zipping Digby, Little Cath and Messed Up Mary all racing for line honours, anything could happen.

Race 6. Another great race here! Rex On Fire should be favourite but with a quality field like this, anything can happen. Dirty Attack in box 1, Bowhunter in box 5, Georgia Girl in box 6 and Canya Refine in box 4, they will all be out to take the top spot on the dais!

Race 7. Slick Tesla is the one to beat here, but with Bluey La La, Ronaldo, Beer Bandit and Wolf Man all trying to finish first, she will have to be at her best!

Race 8: Topology Man in box 1 will be a good combination here, but with Whiskey Diva in box 8 and Black Iron in box 7, he will have to nail the start. Keep an eye on Socks La La.

Race 9: Max Is Mad is back and racing well. From box 1 he should start favourite. His biggest opposition will come from Miley On Fire and My Shout Zoe.

We had a fantastic crowd out at Winnellie Park for an exciting evening of racing! Here's a quick rundown of the highlights:

🏇 Race 1: Adam Day's Whiskey Diva stormed to victory, winning by two lengths over *Socks Lala*.

🏇 Race 2: Teresa Wareham celebrated her second winner of the night with Bluey Lala, who finished two lengths ahead of Canya Refine.

🏇 Race 3: Graham Ferns' Dawson's Bear took the win from the 8 eight box, finishing a length ahead of Andrew Lasker's Zipping Digby.

🏇 Race 4: It was a nail-biter! Andrew Lasker's new star, Bart's Chance, won in a photo finish, just edging out Roma Blue and Quick Shadow just off the pace..

🏆 Race 5 - The Winnellie Cup: A thrilling finish saw Graham Ferns' Nikanova win by a nose over Adam Poulter's Bantam Rocket, with Little Cath finishing close behind in third.

🏇 Race 6: Wolfman roared to an easy victory by five lengths!

🏇 Race 7: Omar Monelli notched up what I think is his 16th win of the year for trainer Steele Bolton, winning by three and a half lengths ahead of kennel mate Our Therapy.

🏇 Race 8: The final race saw Rob Brown's Hooray Tay sn**ch a win by a nose over Harrison Brown's Mum Said Yes.

1. Submit a naming application with a few options – just in case your first pick is taken!
2. Names must be between 2-16 characters and can’t contain numbers or special characters.

🏆 Race 4: Another trifecta for Steele Bolton with Beer Bandit 1st, Canya Refine 2nd, and My Shout Zoe 3rd.
🏆 Race 5: Kelmar Soxy took the prize money for Adam Poulter by 2 lengths over Rosie La La.
🏆 Race 6: Slick Tesla picked up the win for Graeme Ferns, with Harrison Brown's Miley on Fire in 2nd place.
🏆 Final Race: Steele Bolton's 2024 Ladbrokes Darwin Cup Winner, Omar Monelli, crossed the line first, just ahead of Steele’s Our Therapy.
