So we can install our brand new counter, we're going to close the store (just for one day) on Monday 12th August. We'll be open as normal on Tuesday 13th August. Yesterday, the usually reliable ship that delivers magazines to Tassie had a mechanical oopsie on the other side of the vast, unforgiving Bass Strait (perhaps it wanted a day off?). Unfortunately, this means the eagerly awaited magazine shipment is taking a short, unscheduled vacation. 🚢💔

Fear not, dear readers! We've been assured that the heroic crew is doing everything possible to fix the hiccup (including sweet-talking the engine and promising it an extra day off). The latest gossip, lifestyle tips, and crossword puzzle magazines you've been craving are just a day away from docking. 🌊📚

Hi everyone. We're still waiting for Telstra to fix our internet, so still no phone or EFTPOS. 😭

Hi everyone. As you might have seen on the news, there's a Telstra outage affecting business across the country, that's been caused by an update to our modems by Telstra overnight.

We don't have phone or internet (so no EFTPOS) until it's fixed. Wait times with Telstra support are currently at just under two hours, so couldn't check how far away a fix might be!

Hopefully it'll all be sorted by tomorrow, and please accept our apologies if you were inconvenienced.

UPDATE: Apparently this outage is affecting a few businesses with Telstra in Devonport. We're open, but still no EFTPOS. Sorry for any inconvenience. 👍😄
