A huge congratulations to our Men’s Vic League 1 Reserves team for an incredible 4-0 win over Geelong! From minor premiers to grand final champions, this team has shown exceptional skill and determination all year!

Last night, the MHC Panthers had the privilege of witnessing not one, but two thrilling grand finals at Hawthorn. Alongside our Women’s 35+ team, our Men’s 50+ squad faced off against KBH in a hard-fought grand final.

In a tightly contested match, the game ended in a 1-1 draw, leading to a tense shootout. Although our men narrowly missed clinching the win in the shootouts, their incredible effort throughout the season speaks volumes. Finishing as runners-up still is such a huge achievement. Congratulations to the entire team on an outstanding season!

What an incredible game! Huge congratulations to our Women’s 35+ Masters Team for their stunning 7-0 victory in the grand final against MCC.

This win ticks off what was a remarkable season, where the women showcased their strength and skill, going undefeated all the way. A flawless season with no losses is a true testament to their talent and strength as a team. We can’t wait to see what 2025 holds for this strong team!

Last night, our Men’s Open team faced Waverley in a thrilling grand final showdown, which was another last year grand final rematch. In a tightly contested match, our boys gave it their all but narrowly missed out, falling 1-0 in the closing stages. Despite the result, it’s been an incredible season, and finishing as runners-up is a testament to their hard work. Well done, boys!

The 2024 Hockey Victoria Mike Taylor Medal, for Most Improved Junior Umpire award goes to our very own Kay-Leigh Jooste!

Our WPL girls faced off against Essendon in a hard-fought elimination final today. Despite their incredible effort and determination, they narrowly fell 2-0, bringing their 2024 season to a close.

Get ready, Panthers! Starting this Monday, we kick off with our Open SE @ HOME at 7:30pm, followed by the Men’s 45+ at Camberwell at 8:30pm.

Our talented young goalkeeper, Elvis Phillips, and Coach Tim Holland have just returned home from representing Victoria in the U12 School Sports Australia Tournament held in Cairns.

Although they missed out on the medal matches, Elvis and Tim achieved an impressive 5th place finish in the tournament with only 1 win and 1 draw.

Elvis is thrilled to have been part of the Victorian team, where he showcased his skills with incredible saves throughout the whole competition. His outstanding performance also earned him the Best and Fairest Award for the Victorian team.
