Drove off last Friday as soon as pracs finished to start walking the Cape to Cape southbound with Joel.
#2 for me. I feel so privileged and blessed to be living on such amazing Country and be able to make the time and have the fitness to walk such a scenic and spectacular trail.
Coming back yesterday and hearing about the US elections made me so sad. The contrast of the beauty and the ugly in this world even starker.

Back story of those pics I love: my legendary friend Maddie picked me up at 5:30am on a Summer Sunday morning some 4 years ago to do a profesh photoshoot. Barely 1hr sleep and a puffy face later - that time when I used to stay up late partying - oh how I am not missing those cloudy days 😂. My friend pulled up the most gorgeous pics of myself for my website. Thanks Maddie I love you!

Like most things, running a business is a juggling gig. Should I change the massage days? Should I do later hours? Should I increase my prices because the cost of all things have increased?
For now it is a no for all those questions. I am at capacity with my working hours and days and I do not feel comfortable raising my prices again. Where to go from here?

There are better days than others. Quiet days make me wonder how long this work will sustain me. Busy bookings make me feel valued but I know this is not true. I am doing a lot of unpaid and not public work/acts of service in the background for my personal and professional joy and growth. I am feeling valued by my community. Life has its ebbs and flows 🌟

It is also full Moon in Pisces! Did you see the Big Moon last night and this morning setting?

Today I'm celebrating 11 years since I first landed in Australia. Out of all the anniversaries in my life this one is my favourite!

With everything considered, the beauty of the Country, the deep sense of feeling home, feeling welcomed and safe, I acknowledge I am living on Stolen Land. I acknowledge that the government that has given my Australian citizenship resides on foreign lands. We , as non Aboriginal folks, are foreigners in this Country.

I have loved Australia with all of my heart and looking forward to many more years 🖤💛 ❤️

For as long as I've been massaging, sourcing beautiful linen has always been a must for me. I think it came from one of the massage trainings I took in Bali in my early years of practice. The details and neatness with which the table must be set has stuck with me. If you've been to Bali you can see how much beauty on a daily life is important. The daily offerings and the rituals of prayers to the divinity.

For the first time I have kept some of those beautiful sarongs for sale. They are made of 100% cotton, 1.9m x 1.1m, are $35 each and can be used as a table cloth , over a window, a beach sarongs, to make clothes and so on.

It's been a wee while.
Winter has settled in.

I am day 1 of my cycle today. I am finally settling into a rhythm since Africa and covid. Life has been full. Inside and outside.

I am enjoying the crisp mornings, snuggling into the warm bed, getting on boots, woolen socks and jumpers.
