Little Miss Ebby.
Chihuahua's small dogs, big hearts 🐾❤️

Photos from Tiny Tails Chihuahua Rescue Australia inc's post 04/01/2024

Little Miss Ebby, unfortunately, was in an unsuitable home. Please, no nasty comments!
Her owner was physically unwell, with mobility issues and dementia.
Due to this, Miss Ebby was in an environment that was unclean, and she had fleas, and as you can see, skin irritations
We are attending to Ebby in every possible way.
Please be rest assured 🐾❤️

Let's put our hands together for Rosie and Jeremy, who put up their hands to safely transport Little Miss Ebby from NSW to our rescue care in Victoria.
Our rescue is supported by our rescue Village, we know we aren't alone! Thanks to our transport, Angel 😇
THANK YOU 🐾❤️

We are currently on the road travelling home, Andrew is in the driver's seat.
And we have a Super Precious Cargo with us!
Yes, your correct!
Precious Little Miss Ebby is on board the Tiny Tails Chihuahua Rescue van.
Miss Ebby is part of our rescue family now.

This could not have been possible if not for our Angel transporter Rosie, who went above and beyond to rescue this little one.
We owe Rosie our gratitude!

It's going to be another long night 😔 unfortunately, Ebby has fleas, and her skin is not in a good way.
Her skin is irritated, and she is constantly scratching.
She has patches of fur missing.
I will attend to her immediately on arrival back to our rescue home.
Shall keep you all posted 🐾❤️

Foster Mum Beverley writes, "Well… the girls are certainly starting to feel comfortable here and have begun to come spend more time with us and have now discovered the comfort of the lounge 😀
I’ve let them have their own space, and they’ve had free access to the home, but for the first couple of days kept to themselves and slept. But now they are out and have become part of the family group 🙏❤️.
They went for a long walk today and were absolutely wonderful, walking with confidence 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I made sure to give them both lots of praise for their efforts.
Miss Dolly even had a run around with excitement when she got back home.
With more exposure and lots of love, I believe they will make great progress 🐾❤️🐾❤️"

Reading this just makes my heart sing 🎶
Aren't our foster carers just the very Best!

Sorry for the graphic photos, but it's a very important issue to raise, your Pets Dental Health!

It's important to take care of your pet's teeth at home, but they also need regular check-ups with a veterinarian to stay on top of their dental health.
Dental disease can cause significant pain to your pet and, if it advances, can cause tooth and gum infection, inflammation, and bone and tooth loss and can cause other health problems if left untreated.

One of the greatest things about having a little lap dog, like a Chihuahua, is that they are small.
Unfortunately, their small mouths mean that they have less room to fit all of 42 of their teeth. Chihuahuas often suffer from overcrowded teeth, plaque buildup, and gum disease.

Please be proactive and provide regular dental care and regular dental vet visits for your pets!

The very best Christmas gift 🎁 ever!
This photo was taken all those years ago of the day Miss Cookie was rescued.

Long story short, a senior man approached Andrew's co-workers offering them Cookie on the street.
These co-workers informed Andrew, and he and the staff located this man weeks later, and they asked after Cookie.
They followed him home, and when Andrew heard her story, he rescued her then and there on the spot!

This old man's son was a puppy farmer, and he was under watch and being investigated.
He would use family members to hide and distribute dogs the old man his father couldn't manage...
We were able to help add to the case by the evidence of the vet work Miss Cookie required.
Cookie couldn't walk properly. We thought she had leg issues, but it was that her fur was so matted that it pulled at her skin when she walked, her teeth were terrible!

Andrew just left this employment after 13 years, and the staff gifted him this photo of the day Cookie was rescued.
We will always cherish this photo, Miss Cookie will always have a special spot in our hearts forever.
Now Cookie is living her best life with Mum Nat from Puparazzi Parlour Dog Grooming
We Love and Adore you Miss Cookie 🐾❤️

That just means l have Years of Experience in the fine art of Love and Friendship 🐾❤️

Adoption! Adoption! Adoption!
Meet Meeko, the charming Chihuahua Cross searching for his forever home! 🏡

Meeko’s date of birth is 15/12/ 2018 making him 4 years and 10 months old approximately and, though his past may hold some uncertainties, he's ready to embark on a new chapter filled with love and understanding, we are targeting a home where his human is home, or working from home.
You need to understand and have the patience to support Meeko, at first he may be very unsure and can snap if fearful, but this will subside over time as he feels safe and bonded. Meeko will thrive in an environment that is predicable, with routines in place.
Meeko comes vet checked, C5 vaccinated, treated for seasonal allergies with cytopoint injection and malaseb medicated shampoo and pyohex leave in conditioner he responded well. Meeko is desexed, microchipped. Had a dental scale and clean with extractions and rear dew claw removal under surgery.

Meeko is a bit timid and can scare easily, especially when it comes to sudden movements, but his heart is filled with the potential for trust and affection.

In his previous environment, Meeko developed a cautious demeanour, possibly due to experiences that we may never fully comprehend. He tends to be a bit fearful if hands or feet move quickly, often cowering down. However, there's a glimmer of hope in his eyes, and he has a unique way of seeking reassurance by sitting near your foot, as if to say, "I just want to feel safe with you."

Meeko hasn't shown much interest in toys, but he delights in the simple pleasures of a greenies dental stick or a goats horn. These treats bring him joy and comfort, showcasing his appreciation for the finer things in life.

Ideally, Meeko is looking for a home where he can roam freely, finding solace on the couch or someone's bed. Access to both indoor and outdoor spaces, including a secure backyard, would be a dream come true for him. He enjoys leisurely walks and the freedom to explore, so an environment that caters to his love for the outdoors would be perfect.
Meeko does have seasonal allergies, despite this, he remains resilient and ready to embrace each day with a wagging tail. When it comes to barking, Meeko is relatively quiet at the window, but he may express some hesitation and bark when visitors arrive. Don't be discouraged; once he warms up, Meeko is known to approach them for a curious sniff and, on occasion, even welcomes a gentle pat.

For Meeko, a small canine companion who shares his calm and well-mannered demeanour would be ideal. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this sweet soul, Meeko is eagerly waiting to be part of a loving family.

If you believe you can offer Meeko the understanding and patience and cater to all his needs to thrive, click on the link https://forms.gle/VAjxXGrHLfHeNReH6 and fill in a detailed application form.
Let's make Meeko's journey to a forever home a reality filled with love, trust, and new beginnings. 🐾❤️

Beverley and Lindsay, our foster carers, provide positive opportunities for the girls to experience and build their confidence.

Foster Mum Beverley writes, "The girls went to Petstock, who are so amazing with all our fur-babies. The store was completely empty, so that gave Dolly & Lula the opportunity to investigate in a quiet setting. They were so inquisitive and got lots of attention from the wonderful staff. They took in the sights and sounds from the comfort of the pet stroller 🐾❤️

Happy 6th birthday, Oscar!
Glad we had the opportunity to get to know you when you entered our rescue doors.
We know you will have a Special day so long as your Dad is right by your side.
You chose Peter to be your Dad on your meet and greet.

I remember you were adopted on a Saturday, and the following day, Sunday we had a Chihuahua Meetup.
You and your Dad were invited and attended....
Well, l remember at the Chi meetup you acted as if you didn't know me, and only had eyes for your Dad.
You know what? l wasn't offended in the slightest because l knew things were as they should be...

You and your Dad have a tight bond. You both love each other. You are two peas, and both gorgeous 😍

Here's to many, many more Birthdays yet to come.
We love you, Oscar 🐾❤️

Wow! What a unique creation!
Can you recognise the Pomeranian doggy in this creative blanket?
You guessed it... it's the one and only Little Miss Cookie 😍 our amazing, famous, adopted rescue girl.

This Amazing Art Creation is a one of a kind masterpiece made by Lisa from
Yes, the same Lisa who runs Tails of Teesdale and supports our rescue by donating her services to our rescue grooms.
Yes, you guessed it again... the same Lisa who is currently fostering our precious rescue dog, Mr Rocco.
To say Lisa is Talented is an understatement!
We think she has Talents oozing out of her pores!

This one of a kind blanket was lovenly made for Natalie from Puparazzi Parlour Dog Grooming
Nat is an Amazing human being, and she is the best dog Mama to Miss Cooks our adoptive rescue dog.
