GOOD MORNING!

Very proud of Design Rouge on the weekend out at his first comp, Corio and Moorabool pony club combined training day. He had a clear calm show jump round after properly settling into the busy environment and a tense dressage test. So excited to get out onto a cross country course.

It was a great weekend at the Downunder Extreme Cowboys jackpot. The open arena the day before was a game changer for Kashman, who has only been in a fully covered arena once and he was so scared. It was great to let him relax into the environment so he could focus on the obstacles. With a score of 60.28 in Rookie decision and 58.55 in Novice we took home 2nd and 3rd, in the Novice division there was less than 2 points separating 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place. I’m so proud of Kashman. Such an improvement from last time he was in that arena. It was a challenge to even get him near the obstacles.

Pippa and Daphne helping put out the hay this morning. It’s a beautiful day for it. We needed the rain, but it so nice to have the sun ☀️ shining.

After a special request for Tiny Tot lessons, we have decided to make them a regular thing.

Just ‘Horsing around’

Little Princess and Torri testing out the new tyre obstacles. Neither of them hesitated and went straight up! Now to try it under saddle.

I just remembered how much fun jumping was and Red has decided he loves it too! I can’t wait to see what he can do.

Who’s who in the zoo? Kashman the quarter horse rose among the thoroughbred thorns, brother and sister, Design Rouge and Radiant Rouge.

We had a wonderful day out at Black Horse Lodge last weekend for their Buckle Series Cowboy Dressage show. Torri even had a go! Nakita come 1st and 2nd to herself in her partnership on the ground with Mary. Kashman and I did both partnership on the ground and under saddle coming 1st and second to ourselves taking home reserve high point.

Beautiful evening for a sunset 🌅 ride. Taken 25/4. It was too pretty to not share. Better late than never.

Great weekend away at the Southern Australian Cowboy Dressage Championships - Benalla VIC Kash Man did an amazing job for his first time out by himself. We are looking forward to the next Cowboy Dressage Show as we now know what to expect.

We are almost full. We only have 2 spots left for retraining. Specialising in thoroughbred and Standardbred retraining and problem fix’s such as float loading and ground manners, water. Training programs will be tailored to the individual horses needs. $300 per week for full care and daily training. All training packages include a lesson to teach you all the new cues your horse has learnt so you know how to ask for them at home.
