This creates less waste and keeps a consistent height of cake layers and portion sizes.

The heart can be extended up to 11” in height serving 63 dessert portions or 126 coffee portions…

To even out my grid I will introduce you to my latest little “good deed project”.

I met a lovely family who run the .kitchen non-profit charity, who provide home cooked meals for families in need in Geelong area. They are trying to help people get back on their feet, while nourishing their bodies with beautiful, healthy home made meals. The importance of nutrition often gets forgotten at times of hardship.

My dislike of food waste and my struggle to utilise the cake off cuts slowly filling up my freezer, turned into an idea…
And so the cake pops for .kitchen were born! Whenever my freezer gets too full I make a bagful!

It’s a perfect win win situation - there is no waste in my kitchen and someone in need gets a little treat on occasion 🙌🙌
