According to www.electroculture.life
"Electroculture is a simple method of applying atmospheric (free) electricity to significantly increase plant growth. Using basic materials like copper wire (and/or magnets) to vitalize the soil and increase yields by 100% - 300%."
I am currently conducting my own experiments using sunflower 🌻 seeds. I have 10 pots with antennas and 10 without.
All seeds were similar sizes, water, sun and temp are all consistent.
Let's see what happens. 🤷🏼♀️🌻
Have you ever heard of electroculture??? Do you think it works?
Cryptolaemus montrouzieri is an orange and black coloured ladybird 🐞 native to Australia that feeds predominately on our fluffy little enemy........the mealybug (and other soft scaled insects). This little cutie is in its late larvae stage. These guys are an effective biological control super star, and have been exported to other places, including the US to help in agriculture. Sharing is caring!
What a superstar!
This little one was about 1cm long and easy to identify.
🔹 What is your favourite bug friend?
What the Ficus!
Don't be scared, be ruthless and chop your Figgy back! If you're like me and looking for a bushy tree, I recommend pruning your Fig to encourage branching. This is the second time I've chopped this guy right back and I've always had great new growth.
I'm looking foward to those new leaves opening. My fig blew over in the wind a while ago and was damaged and sunburnt. I've been hanging out for the warmer weather to prune.
After the prune, Figgy received a full strength dose of Oleisea and will continue to be fed every second watering.
There are so many new buds appearing, he's going to look so good. I'll post an update soon.
What have you ruthlessly pruned lately?

I'm still so shocked about this little beauty 😍
If you're terrible at ferns, then this little plant is awesome and might be a substitute. It's called and it's a sun loving herb that flowers.
It's been pretty tough so far and mine seems to be loving life.
My little plant is in well draining soil, sits outside in full sun and is watered every second watering with Oleisea 🥰 so far so good.

I'm obsessed with these key rings. 😍
Thanks to paper Co. I'm lucky to have these in my little store woot Woot. 😝

This amazing climber is my scindapsus exotica 😍
I have always loved the scindapsus and feel like I need to collect them all.
🌿🌿Which ones have you collected?🌿🌿
I am so tempted to chop and prop this beauty! I feel like I need a fuller pot with lots of cascading foliage.
🌿Yes or no? What do you think?
Slow growers can be incredibly frustrating but are well worth the investment of time. This beautiful Sansevieria Moonlight receives medium light and is watered when totally dry.
It has never had a pest and is a very resilient plant.
What is your favourite Sansevieria variety?
One of the toughest plants I own. I water it when I remember and it sits in a low-medium light area in the middle of my house.
The low/medium light areas of my home have:
🪴 Peace lily
🪴 Zz plants
🪴 Sansevieria
This beautiful plant doesn't require much water so it only receives Oleisea 3-5 times a year.
What are your low light plants?
I am in love with the variegation on the philodendron cream splash. I especially love the newest leaves after propagation 😍 they are extra colourful.
Fed with Oleisea
This pot has 3 cuttings growing for fullness.
Label day! Not my favourite task, but a necessary one 🥰🌿
Rainy day tasks. ☔
What are you up to?
I love begonia flowers, but I can't stand the huge mess they make 🤣 I thought I'd take a quick pic before they go.
Anyone else cut them off?
My new caladium is on fire 🔥 😍
I could not walk past this one 😂 the colours are so vibrant and bright. When I took her home I noticed a root plug. Swipe ⬅️ to see it.
This caladium had no issues breaking through the plug, so I left it alone.
🔹Do you always check for plugs and root development when you bring home a new plant?
The Oleisea update. 🌿
Left leaf was soaked once for 12 hours before being placed in water. Both leaves have been under the same conditions. I'm happy with the result 🥰
I love how my Spider plant grows over my garden edge.
It does take a bit of maintenance to keep it like this as it can be invasive. Ever few weeks I pull out any baby plants from the back of the garden. I don't want spider plants everywhere, just hanging over the wall.
🌿🌿🌿🌿LAST DAY TO ENTER.🌿🌿🌿🌿
Want this beautiful cream splash and a 50g pouch or planty goodness?
Head over to my post on the 7th for all details.

I am so in love with this new peace lily 😍
Those colours are amazing. I'm guessing it's a Sensation Jessica. Can anyone confirm the ID please.
🔹Care
🌿Like all of my peace lilies, it will receive medium to bright indirect light.
🌿I don't let them receive any direct light through my windows as it can be a bit much for the foliage.
🌿 I'll try not to let it dry out too much between waterings as they can be dramatic and wilt.
🌿 Also, drying out too much causes crispy leaf tips.
🌿 She will have a dose of Oleisea every second watering.
🌿I will repot her the moment I see roots growing out of the bottom of the pot.
My new alocasia zebrina leaf is so vibrant 😍
Second pic is of the older leaf that has hardened off. In the older leaves the colour is still there, it just isn't as vibrant.
I found this one at Big W in Robina. 🥰
🔹Have you ever found a "special" plant amongst the regulars?
Care guide
🌿Lots of very bright indirect light. Mine receives some direct light through my windows.
🌿 Mine is very thirsty. I popped her into a larger pot so I didn't have to water it so much. I don't let it completely dry out between waterings.
🌿 Mines in a 50/50 perlite and premium soil mix.
🌿 Spider mites are the alocasias best friend. I buy predator mites to keep them at bay.

Aspidistra elatior aka the cast-iron-plant.
🔹🔸🔸🔸Have you got one? 🔸🔸🔸🔹
This tough plant can totally handle some low light areas. But, it won't grow much, if at all in low light. I bought this variegated one from and had her in my office for a long time.
I have recently moved her outside in the shade and she has produced a huge amount of new growth. Swipe ⬅️ for more pics.
Once the new growth fully opens, I'll move her back into my office.
I often rotate my plants through the low light areas of my house.
Not much grows well, if at all in my dark areas.
I'm obsessed with caladiums. Anyone else? 😘
I got lucky with this one. I took a cutting and crossed my fingers that the new growth would grow out in the perfect spot. It did!
The new growth grew out on the variegation line and this is the result. It's a lime and green 50/50 leaf.
Propagating plants with variegation like this is a 'luck' situation. Understanding this before purchasing an expensive cutting is imperative. Unfortunately, I know lots of people who have purchased a super costly cutting with blocky stem variegation, only to have the new growth grow on a green point, and all variegation is lost.
Has this happened to you? Have you taken a chance with variegation?

Caladium Thai beauty 🥰🌸
I love caladium season.
Who's obsessed like me?
Calathea Makoyana 💚
Her foliage reminds me of a stained glass window.
This calathea is on the same level as a Lancifolia, slightly more hardy and not as fussy with humidity. I treat this on the same as I treat my peace lilies and she seems to be growing well.
What is your favourite calathea?
Who's peace lily is flowering?
One of the main reasons I found my peace lily late to flower or not flowering at all, is low light.
If you're struggling to get some flowers, it might be worth moving your plant to a brighter spot.
Oleisea has certainly helped increase the amount of flowers my big sensation produces.
I used to only get 3-4, now mines producing 10-15 😝

Happy 💚
I'm obsessed with this shimmering .
She has been slow to kick off but is producing leaves at a nice, rewarding rate now. Photos of this hoya just dont do her any justice.
What is your favourite hoya?
My new favourite leaf! Swipe ⬅️ to see what I started with 😍
Thanks for this devine plant.
Today vs august 2021. Swipe ⬅️ 🥰😍👆
I bought these pot hooks and I've been randomly hanging on my fence. I love the way it's looking and it keeps my pathways less cluttered. I'll do a fence photo soon 🥰
How are you displaying your succulents to save space? 😘

It is bucketing down here and I've just done the morning drop off. I'll tell ya what! Dropping off three small humans in the rain is a sensational experience. 🙄 I think I'd rather go to the dentist 😂
Anyways, here's my Caladium - lance leaf.
She's awake and amazing! I have some serious love for caladiums and will totally deal with the spidermites any day, as long as I get those glorious, thick, colourful leaves.
This strappy leaf lady lives next to my West facing window, gets direct rays through the tinted glass and is watered once a week. I water with every second watering (with a full dose). Just as the bulbs emerge, I give them an extra to help with growth. I find them to be heavy feeders and respond beautifully to the
