Guess who’s booked a holiday!! First in a loooooong time!

Working in a hair salon we have lots of wonderful clients that we get very attached too. And every now and again we will tragically have a client pass away. Generally they’re of a ripe age 👵🏼👴🏼 This week however I have lost a beautiful soul, client, a co-puppy mummy but mostly friend. She was angelic, selfless, caring and only 52…. Joc passed just after her last nail appointment. I fear I was the last person to see her alive? Still trying to make contact with her family to find out more details. I’m saddened and truly heartbroken. Last we spoke we were planning play dates with our puppies. But we didn’t get around too it. Life is just so short and precious. If u are contemplating catching up with an old friend, do it before it’s too late. I feel so blessed and honored to of had Joc in my life and be considered her friend, and her mine. I will miss you 😔 your beautiful smile, the clank of your jewelry, and slobby kisses from Kingi 🐶 Another angel is made 😇

Sometimes, someone comes into your life that does nothing but add value to it. They're not mean, they dont speak ill of others, they build you up, not tear you down, they make you feel important, not worthless. This was my someone. Faye ❤️ One of the good ones. She left us over the weekend. The world will be a smaller place without her. I felt special in her presence. Worthwhile. Valuable. Important. A friend. I wish we could all learn from her. If everyone I knew was half the person she was, my days would be so much more enjoyable. I will miss you Faye. So much. You were, to me, a truly special person and I will miss you 🧡

Just have to give a big shout out to the amazing Vicki ! She rescued me recently with the perfect dress for my besties 50th birthday. She made me feel like a million dollars. And I didn’t have to fork out a gazillion dollars for a dress. Winning!

Think about your Xmas appts now. You may have to change your normal 3 week space and come maybe in 2 or 4 weeks from your last appt. If I can’t get up in right before Xmas it really isn’t the worst thing in the world 🥰

clients that during these busy seasons and really all seasons not to take it offensively/ personally if someone says they just can't squeeze you. There can be so many reasons behind it. Please try to book in advanced to avoid stress for you & your service provider!!!
And service providers! It's OK to say you just can't squeeze someone in. You are also a priority and no amount of $$ is worth burnout. Take care of yourself first so you can take care of other at 100%
This is something that I've had to learn how to be ok with saying. It's still really hard because the in me wants to get everyone in but I'm
learning that I need to be at 100 my best before taking care of others.
