Happy Father's Day to my hubby for being an awesome role model for our son. He's not used to having his photo taken but tickles help anyone relax in front of the camera.

These are the moments that need to be captured, a moment of bonding and connection forming between these two brothers. The older sibling, once the centre of attention, now understands the joys of sharing love and cuddles, eager to step into his new role as a protective and caring big brother!

Don’t worry about having an outfit for your baby for their newborn photo shoot. I have a selection of onesies and wraps in neutral colours for you to choose from, though I did knit this green baby blanket during lockdown which seems to be very popular with my clients!

Most parents understand their older child's temperament around their newborn baby. So during your newborn photo shoot, I'll ask the parents if the older sibling can hold the baby or lie on the beanbag with the baby, this could vary depending on the older sibling's age. If there's any likelihood that the sibling may lash out at the newborn, I'll have a parent hold the baby and let the older sibling snuggle in. I have a few ideas up my sleeve, but one thing I do know is I have to be quick to get that magical shot!

When you sit back and think about it; having a baby is one of the most mind blowing experiences you can have. It starts with a wish and before you know it you’ve created this tiny human, a part of you. Living life with them seems like they always existed and now you can’t imagine life without them!

All the delicate features of your newborn baby are captured during a newborn photo shoot. The long eyelashes, their button nose and little fingers, all the tiny details that will soon change as they grow!
