Our final gig for this year was at Salamanca Market this morning - what a way to finish up the season! Merry Christmas from all of us to all of you. Oh, and HO HO HO!!! π πβ¨
Our second-last performance tonight was at the Farm Gate Market pop-up market at Macq Point. The traffic was almost gridlocked around the market site - if you heard a cry of 'I'm not getting any closer, you'll have to get out here!' before witnessing someone wearing a ridiculous amount of Christmas bling commando-rolling out of a vehicle even remotely in the vicinity of Evans Street, chances are it was one of us. The measures we take to sing carols for you know no bounds! Our final gig is this Saturday morning, 9.00am at Salamanca Market (Christmas Eve Carols at Salamanca Market). See you there, Hobart! :D
Our Claremont Plaza performance was heaps of fun yesterday - thanks to all the friendly shoppers who smiled, waved, sang along, or wished us a Merry Christmas on their way past.
We have two performances left for this year, and we'd love to see you!
- Tomorrow (Thursday), 5.00pm-5.30pm at the Farm Gate Market pop-up Christmas market in Evans Street, Macquarie Point; and
- Christmas Eve Carols at Salamanca Market, 9.00am-9.30am at the bottom of Gladstone Street.

.... aaaaand, just like that, we only have THREE GIGS LEFT before we hang up our Santa hats, pack away our Rudolph noses, and turn off our flashing bauble necklaces for another year. Catch us while you can!
ππππππππ
Tuesday 20 December, 11.00am-11.45am:
Singing for shoppers outside Claremont Plaza (Main Road, Claremont).
ππππππππ
Thursday 22 December, 5.00pm-5.30pm:
Busking at the Farm Gate Market's special pre-Christmas pop-up market at Macq Point. Come and sing along, and throw a few coins in our busking bucket - we promise to spend our earnings on Christmas treats! :)
ππππππππ
Saturday 24 December, 9.00am-9.30am:
It's our final gig of the year and we're going out in style at Salamanca Market. Get your bling on, grab your friends, and get to the bottom of Gladstone Street where we'll be singing up a storm (you're welcome to join in too!). See Christmas Eve Carols at Salamanca Market for full details.

We had a fabulous time at Salamanca Market today, performing with Auslan interpreter Ben. Yes, he is wearing baubles in his beard. Yes, he did dye his beard green. We have to concede that he's outdone us in the bling stakes. Thanks Ben, and thanks to everyone who stopped and listened and sang along.
We've got a couple of days off, then we're out at Claremont Plaza on Tuesday from 11am, at the Farm Gate Market pop-up market on Thursday afternoon (Macq Point), then our final gig is 9.00am on Christmas Eve at Salamanca Market. Ho Ho Ho! :D

We had a fabulous time at the Tasmanian Produce Market this morning - though with all the amazing food trucks cooking up a storm our tummy rumblings may well have been louder than our singing. Next up we're at Salamanca Market at 1.00pm today, singing for half an hour, with special guest Ben who will be Auslan interpreting our performance. Get out there and get festive, Hobart! π

Today we sang at Hobart North Uniting Church, for a boutique in-house audience plus a livestream audience - it was so much fun! As our only indoor performance of this season, it was a joy to sing our full program in the fantastic acoustics of this lovely church - and we're pretty sure the team at HNUC will take the trophy for 'best afternoon tea of the season'!
Next up we're at the St Therese's School Multicultural Community Carols on Wednesday evening (14 Dec). Come on down for our singing and blinging! :)

We had great fun performing (and leading the massed finale) at the John Turnbull Carols last night, especially with the sing-along moshpit that gathered down the front! Today we're at the Hobart North Uniting Church for a community carols sing-along, kicking off at 2pm. With a rainy afternoon forecast, it's exceptionally good timing for our first indoor gig of the season! β¨

We'll be singing at the Lenah Valley Fire Brigade annual Christmas tree fundraiser this Saturday morning! Unfortunately it's too late in the season to learn 'O Christmas Tree' but we'll have heaps of other favourites to get you in the mood for selecting the perfect tree. We'll be singing and blinging at 10.00am for half an hour - come along and buy a tree to support this fantastic volunteer organisation.

We had a really fun gig tonight - singing for guests as they arrived by ferry for a Christmas party at MyState Arena. Once again we were too preoccupied to get photos of us singing in the fabulous pink GASP shelter (we'll work on this, we promise!), but we did manage to grab a few pics afterwards. We have a teeny bit of room left in our calendar this season - if you'd like some carols at your Christmas party, market, shopping evening, work dinner or anything else, please get in touch! π

We're up and away for another year, woohoo! We had a fantastic time at the Brighton Block Party today - it was a great start to our season (so great that we forgot to get a group photo to mark the auspicious occasion - but here's a pic of three of us hanging out sidestage!).
The performances page of our website has been updated with a few gigs (full details coming soon), and we're working on getting more in the calendar. Ho Ho Ho! :D www.hohohobart.com/see
