Happy speech pathology week! Two of our founding committee members are speechie students. (Maddie left, Kallista right). This year’s theme is “communicating for life”, highlighting the importance of speech pathologists in supporting communication across the lifespan. Have you ever considered a career in speech pathology? The scope of practice extends far beyond stuttering and lisps! Did you know swallowing is a huge part of speech pathology work? (We didn’t at first……🤣). Check out the SPA website for more information, or ask one of the speechie students through our email for more information about the Masters program! 🧠🗣️
