Next week is Book Week! This year’s Children's Book Council of Australia (Vic) theme is ‘Reading is Magic’, which celebrates the amazing power of stories.

Our Premiers’ Reading Challenge website has extensive book lists and book reviews full of inspiration for children to dress as their favourite characters.

This Sunday is National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children's Day. A day to celebrate the strength and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.

We support a world in which children are proud of their culture, empowered by their community and strong in their identity.

As Children’s Day falls on a Sunday this year, schools and sites are invited to get involved in activities tomorrow.

Peer Reading is up and running for Term 3! Our senior students are amazing peer supporters of younger students, with both age groups benefiting. Peer Reading leaders develop valuable mentoring skills and their partners develop essential fluency in reading. A win-win 😀👏✅.
