The Rural Doctors Association of Tasmania Rural Health Conference was held in Devonport over the weekend.
The team pulled together a fantastic educational and social schedule, and it was great to catch up with colleagues from around the state, who do such an amazing job providing healthcare for our rural communities around the clock.
I was joined by Dr Rod Omond, Deputy Chair of the RACGP Rural Council amongst RACGP representatives present, and it was also great to catch up with Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) President Dr Dan Halliday, who I worked with alongside Dr Liz Grey as junior doctors in Rockhampton, my first foray into rural medicine.
